I had the supposed pad thai, and it was so so. The chicken had that pre-cooked, refrigerated, and then warmed up again aftertaste, the noodles were a touch mushy, and the rest was… ok I guess? I didn’t hate it, but I wouldn’t be going back for any.
My son had their mac and cheese and it was also ok I guess. There was a very faint powdered cheese flavor which might not even have been powdered cheese but just the way it was processed.
The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The store itself is forgettably bland which is probably a good thing for a fast food place.
I won’t be going back, but only because it was kind of meh and boring, not because it was awful.
It looked as if none of the tables had been wiped down in at least an hour, every table had bits of noodle or crumbs on it. Not enough for one to recoil, but enough for it to be noticeable. Food was fine. Very surprised that a noodle place does not offer chopsticks upon request, especially one that serves Asian themed cuisine. I got the Japanese noodles with grilled chicken. Noodles were good, but I feel the food was lacking in vegetables and meat. There was more chicken than broccoli, and there wasn’t even a lot of chicken. It was acceptable, but I was not impressed and probably won’t return again. Maybe their mac and cheese is really good, but I do not think I will be finding out.
My only objection was the very small plastic fork. Sure wish restaurants would get away from single use plastic utensils.
I’m sad to say I’ve had better noodles out of the frozen meals section of the super market.
On the positive side the staff were friendly, food was fast, and the store was clean.
