I’ve been eating at this location for probably 7+ years now, and I’ve never had an issue with anything here. I always get a small sized pad thai, and that usually is enough to fill me up. However today I came in and ordered a small sized pad thai and the waitress gave me a significantly less small portion than what I am used to getting. I got maybe about 3-4 bites worth of food. I am a really slow eater, and it usually takes me 20 minutes to finish my meal here. Today I finished my meal in less than 2 minutes. That is a HUGE difference. When I brought my concern to the attention of the server, she lied straight to my face and told me that they did indeed give me the right size and that it probably looked small because “they got new bowls” which is false because these are the same bowls they’ve used here for decades. I came here starving, and still left starving. I could maybe understand them giving me less food than normal if I didn’t leave a tip, but I left a pretty generous tip so this just makes me feel betrayed that they did me dirty like that. Especially because I traveled 2 hours to eat here, and have been a loyal customer. I understand that this is just one bad experience out of several of good experiences I’ve had here so regardless of this incident, I will still continue to come back since this has also been my favorite place to eat downtown for several years. However from now on I won’t waste money on a tip, or a small plate IF this is how I’m going to be treated.. (update: i am especially hangry now just because i got home and there isn’t any supper so the 3 bites of noodles you guys gave me is all i’m going to have for the whole day so thanks)):

I really love their noodles. Especially the Japanese pan noodles oh my word. So good. I’m just never disappointed here. The prices are always great. The portions are sizable. The location is convenient. The rice krispies are out of this world! Getting the kids meal is also a great way to get a good amount of food for very cheap. Love this place!

Our office ordered food today and when my co-worker went to pick up the food, the lady said it was not ready. My co-worker said okay how long? The noodles and company lady turned pointed at the three tickets behind her and said after all these tickets. Unacceptable. Our food was burnt as you can see by the pictures.
