A few reasons why we keep coming back:
The Starters: The Spring Rolls are always perfectly cooked and incredibly crunchy—the dipping sauce is the perfect pairing. We also highly recommend the Curry Puffs; they are consistently delicious.
The Mains: Whether it’s the Curries, Pad Thai, or their other noodle dishes, we’ve tried almost everything on the menu over the years, and it’s all fantastic.
The Heat: I love that the spice level is fully customizable. Be warned: the higher end of the scale is legit and gets very spicy!
Pro Tip: They now accept credit cards! This is a great update, as they used to be cash-only.
Even after all these years, it remains one of our favorite spots in the city. Fast, flavorful, and reliable!
On the afternoon of January 9, 2026, my son and I stopped in for lunch and were greeted promptly at the entrance. The host was welcoming and even allowed us to choose our preferred seating, bringing water to the table right away, a small gesture that sets the tone for great service.
What We Ordered
Vegetable Spring Rolls – $5.00
Crab Rangoon – $6.90
Sukothai (heat level 1) – $14.00
Thai Fried Rice (heat level 1) – $15.00
The vegetables spring rolls were clearly made fresh to order, so fresh, in fact, that when I took my first bite, the heat from the oil nearly burned my tongue. That’s how hot and crispy they were.
The Thai fried rice absolutely exceeded expectations. I ordered it at heat level 1, and let me be clear, level 1 does not does not make you look weak and it will sneak up on you. Within minutes, I was sweating from the crown of my head down my face. My son couldn’t stop laughing, and even one of the female staff members cracked a smile watching me try to cool off. That said, the flavor was outstanding, bold, rich, and deeply satisfying. Next time, I’ll enjoy it with no added heat, but I’d absolutely order it again.
My son thoroughly enjoyed his crab rangoon and sukothai, also ordered at heat level 1. His bowl was hearty, well-balanced, and packed with flavor, and he had no complaints, just a clean plate.
The dimly lite interior created a relaxed and cozy lunch setting. The crowd was light, which made it easy to enjoy the meal without feeling cramped or rushed, no elbows bumping, just good food and a comfortable vibe.
Service was attentive, friendly, and natural, no hovering, no neglect. From seating to smiles, everything felt easy and welcoming. Another fantastic visit to Noodlehead. Great food, great energy, and a reminder that even a “level 1” can humble you. I’ll definitely be back, just with less heat next time.
Ordered Kapow Basil fried rice w Chicken for myself (2 spice) and Thai style fried rice W chicken for my wife(2 spice)
Also ordered their new dessert additions pumpkin custard which is really nice
They have authentic Thai noodle dishes, and I especially love the Love Boat menu, the flavor reminded me of what I had in Thailand. The Sukhothai noodles are also very good. The Love Boat dish has a saltier flavor, while the Sukhothai dish is more sour.
The fried chicken is quite good too. Although it was a dry on my last visit, I still recommend trying it. My friends often order the Khao Soi and Pad See Ew, and they always enjoy them. For the Khao Soi, I recommend ordering it without bean sprouts, since authentic versions of the dish don’t usually have them.
Also the Thai boba tea was one of the best I’ve ever had.
