Seriously, go here for your next dinner!!!

I took my partner here for his birthday, and wow new favorite restaurant. Very authentic and delicious Chinese food, all very thoughtfully prepared.

The potatoes were absolutely incredible, honestly the best potatoes I’ve ever had. You can see the spices alllll the way through the center. The meat was all so so tender and flavorful. The spice level was absolutely perfect and I loved that the person taking orders made sure to give us the option. Option 2 was my favorite as a more traditional noodle dish but option 1 soup was nearly as good. Everything was honestly incredible and by far exceeded my expectations.

The atmosphere was great and excellent customer service. I love how they served the bowls, made it easy to take leftovers home. Very reasonable prices. A true hidden gem, everyone really needs to get over there and try it!!!

Soooo goood!

Legit good food from Szechuan region. Salem needs this place. I need this place! The quality of ingredients perfectly fit together. The price was very reasonable, so much so that I’m concerned they aren’t asking enough. I had the Braised Beef Noodle (# 1) and my girl had the Tomato Chicken Noodle. We shared a few sides which were the Szechuan Braised Beef (S1) and it was delicious perfectly spiced and served chilled, and Crispy potatoes (S2) ugh, so yummy. I would give up French Fries for these.

We just had dinner here tonight, the price is affordable for the amount of foods we order. I had the Hot and Sour extra spicy glass noodle soup top with peanuts, bok choy, other veggies and ground meat. For drink I went with passion fruit jasmine ice tea. Dessert got the red bean bean curd, very refreshing. If you haven’t try it be sure to go and give them a try. They make it when you order it, but it does not take long to get your foods. The owner is very friendly and detail oriented. Felt welcome there and he even jokes with our group, so we will be back for sure to try more dishes. By the way they running a promotion right now the noodle is marked down for a short time, drinks, skewer (must try items) we ate our to fast I did not get a picture. The place is clean, neatly space , the table is not sticky or any trash on the ground. Highlight is the friendliness of the owner over all and if you have question they willing to explain you question. A little hole in the wall, going to places trying foods is best when the flavor is always hit the spot.

Great food and service, we tried the braised beef, spicy chicken, spicy wontons, and peach tea. Service was fast and accommodating/helpful. The beef was perfectly tender and mild spice, great flavor on all the dishes we had. The peach tea was refreshing and had great fresh peach flavor. If you’re gluten free, they offer rice noodles as an alternative.

Delicious – We’ll be back next time we’re in Salem!

Good price for good quality noodle soup.
Came back a second time. The jasmine soy milk is delicious. Wonton soup is wonderful. Tried Za Jiang Mian today, it was good, but my favorite is still the braised beef noodle soup.

I unknowingly went to their grand opening!
The cashier was really nice and accommodating.
Food was BOMB. SO GOOD.
Their braised beef stew was great, noodles done right.
The beef skewers were tender with just enough spice.
The crispy potatoes are a great side! Crispy outside while soft inside.
Also had their red bean and brown sugar jelly, both refreshing and great pallet cleansers. Personally good ways to keep the spice levels down for my sensitive tongue.

I was also able to sample their tea and fell in love with their wintermelon tea!

Honestly, if I wasn’t so hungry, this place is also a great snack spot with their drinks selection and side dishes!

We stopped here while road-tripping from Los Angeles, and overall the experience was disappointing.

The restaurant relies heavily on single-use disposable containers, which is not environmentally friendly. What bothered me the most was that I saw food being heated in a microwave using disposable containers. Heating food this way can release microplastics, which raises health concerns.

The food also felt very likely pre-made. There was no option to adjust the spice level, which is usually a red flag for freshly cooked dishes. If I had known the food was pre-prepared, I honestly would not have eaten here.

The environment itself is okay, but there was basically no service.

Not a place I would stop at again during a road trip.

I used to live in China and I’m telling you that these braised beef noodles taste authentic! The service was very quick and friendly. If you are looking for something for little kids, order the wanton soup. It is very mild and nice and they will love it!

It has been years since I went to China, and I have not tasted authentic Szechuan cuisine since. It is distinct. No place I have tried quite captures the flavors. I was blown away though when I tried Noodle Zone’s Braised beef noodle soup – it was just like what I had in the Szechuan province! If you want an introduction to authentic Szechuan cuisine, give it a try. It is SO TASTY. Their teas are great too and their prices very reasonable! I can’t wait to go back!
