The broth is simmered for a period of 2 days. Due to the extensive cooking period, our broth has a deep, well developed flavor that can only be described by experiencing it. Traditional ramen noodles are egg noodles, which are a soft golden yellow color and appear wavy. The Kyushu tradition serves a straighter lighter colored noodle. Both are handmade and both cooked in an ‘al dente’ fashion, as they will continue to cook in the broth when served.

It is a very cozy and wonder place to have Japanese food. The service was on point and the food tastes amazing. I only didn’t like the chicken wings too much. But the Ramen, chicken bun and the lo mein stir fry noodles is a must try! They even customized it to high spicy as per our taste and it tasted best! Must try and highly recommended place!

Awesome broth. They do not skimp on the stuff. Lovely little place with friendly and accommodating staff. I was very pleased with my TanTan Ramen and seaweed salad. Variety of choices for seating. The restrooms were clean and stocked. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but that’s not their fault. Oakland is booming.

Everything here is amazing, they deserve a 5 star rating! The service is AMAZING! They are willing to modify things on their menu for you & the 1st time I was there I didn’t realize they closed at 9 pm, but they didn’t say anything till 9:11 pm, which was so sweet & they were even apologetic about it! The food is also really really good! I’m not a big fan of eggs, but the eggs they put in the ramen is so so good! The atmosphere is chill, I like the black vibe. Would recommend!

We tried the tonkotsu ramen and the veggie ramen. Both were nicely plated and very delicious. It’s a small space. There are smaller benches that you can sit on. and there’s no space to hang bags or coats, which made it somewhat uncomfortable. Great Japanese food options, but average atmosphere.

Bit pricey, but this was a special treat for my family and it was the best ramen I’ve ever had! I got the Tan Tan Spicy Pork Ramen, kiddo got the Pan Fried Chicken Shoyu Ramen, and my husband got the Mixed Vegetable Ramen. We all loved it and emptied our bowls! Serving size is quite hefty and the service was excellent.

Noodle house was a great spot for our group to get ramen together. We tried the shoryu , tan tan (spicy), and beef ramen and they were all delicious. The gyoza were tasty and the service was great. The staff were ready to fill our glasses with more water and to clear away dishes as soon as we had finished with them. The location is clean and simple but could use a little bit of decoration to give it some personality.
