We visited last night on the spare of the moment as we have not been for a few years. What can we say it is still the same beautiful restaurant we have known and loved for years. The staff are extremely helpful and very polite and friendly and the food is just so delicious. The desserts are a treat just so special.

Fantastic food and atmosphere for our wedding anniversary dinner. Nothing was too much trouble, my wife is gluten free and they were able to do her a gluten free base pizza. Definitely order the olives as well! Loved the fact that this was a family run restaurant and you can really see the effort put in especially into the food. Thank you for an authentic Italian food experience!

The meal was ok. Atmosphere was good.
We came to the end of the meal and we tried to book a uber, however because there was no WiFi we were unable to book an uber. We live 30 minutes drive away.
I asked the waitress politely if someone could book a taxi for us, she went away and said they were too busy to book us one.
We headed towards the bar area where 4 staff members were laughing and joking and clearly were not busy. I said to the lady behind the bar that we were disappointed that they couldn’t book us a taxi, she replied ‘we need to keep our phone lines open’ (it seemed like they were fully booked already so I wouldn’t have thought they were looking to take anymore bookings)
Considering we just spent £100 on a meal for 2 of us, it was very disappointing that they couldn’t book us a taxi on a cold rainy night.
We waited around 45 minutes outside waiting for a taxi.
We will not return again.

Delicious food, the pizza was perfect. Cocktails were very nice. Good service and all at a decent price. Only gripe would be the chefs staring at everyone from the kitchen the whole time made us feel quite uncomfortable. Also they made an unusual choice to seat everyone in one corner when the rest of the restaurant was empty.

We had a takeaway from here on Thursday night for the very first time and have lived here for 10 years. The food was extremely tasty. The only negative thing I have to say is it is very expensive as your meal comes alone and any extras need to be added on for an example a piece of lasagna and chips comes to over £20. Probably half that in a good pub

Tried to call to book & misheard that there was nothing available past 5. After asking again so we could double check, the man on the phone took up a nasty tone. (Didn’t get his name unfortunately)
Not even arrived at the restaurant and already been given horrible customer service. We appreciate people have bad days, but you haven’t even opened yet and you’re already deterring customers!

Overall it was ok, but it’s not an authentic Italian restaurant. Pasta was not fresh and was overcooked. The ingredients might be good, but it’s not cooked in an Italian way. Disappointed. Still haven’t find a proper Italian restaurant in Derbyshire.
