Four of us experienced delicious food and great service in this intimate setting. With only a half dozen interior tables, you sit right next to the open kitchen where they cook your meal. The menu is limited including two salad selections (house and Caesar) and six Italian entrées, and two dessert selections. We very much enjoyed Caesar salad and Penne a la Bolognese, which was amply covered with a rich, meaty sauce. The portions were generous (we took half of it home). We finished the meal with Limoncello Cake. A perfect dining experience.

Viola’s birthday dinner is pasta, pasta, and pasta which is her favorite food. We got the shrimp scampi, meatballs, calamari, house salad, chicken piccata, puttanesca, and bread. The owner, a super muscular Italian guy with an amazing man bun and a huge lion tattoo said he was the owner and he has ran the restaurant for 18 years with his children. He asked for a 5 star Google review so “my kids can go to college” and I said I am quick, I already gave you one!
The menu only has 5 entrees and he said there is no point in having more than five entrées since those five entrées are the very best and you cannot order more than five entrees for a meal.
Food was delicious, service was excellent!

Unbelievable. The penne bolognese was the best we ever had. A bit of sweetness, peas (which we love in a pasta dish) and a huge portion. We shared it and still took out a large portion for a lunch. Wines (red and a Chardonnay) were large pours and great taste. Tools were perfect with a nice olive oil for dipping. Taking home the tiramisu which we read was delicious, but haven’t tried it yet. The guy that took over from his dad – Nino- was so personable and attentive. Go here. You will not be disappointed.

I would wager that anything you try at this restaurant, you will love. I’ve been here 3 times, and once I brought my Mom back. The food is absolutely incredible and seems like it is prepared with care and family recipes. The service is also very good. Sometimes I come to town just for this place because I know I’ll be treated well and served a delicious meal.

Just happened to walk down the street and thought we’d give it a try. we decided to share a plate since we weren’t that hungry but wow! The pic shows one of our plates and it was delicious. The staff were awesome. We sat outside and had a little issue with the biting flies but I’m still glad we stopped.

We have been here twice. First time food and service were great, although it was pricey we decided to go back again because we enjoyed the food. Second time we visited the food wasn’t as good chicken was undercooked, and service was just ok. They do automatically add 20% gratuity which like other people have said, could be the reason why some waiters don’t really care about always being attentive . We ordered chicken parm with Alfredo pasta and the chicken Alfredo and just one soda and our bill was $100. Personally and based on both experiences I would say it’s overpriced for what you get

We went here about an hour before close and it seemed like they were rushing. Food came out quick and was very delicious with very large portions. Did not receive really any service, just bring the food to the table and a different lady filled up my water. The reason why they have no problem with giving poor service is the 20% service charge they include on your meal. If you want good Italian food, be prepared and don’t be surprised when you see the 20% tip on your bill.

We went here on our last day in town. I wish we’d tried it earlier so we could’ve gone twice! This place is definitely the hidden gem of St. Augustine. The service was incredible and the food was just as wonderful. You can watch your food being made if you sit inside, but their patio area is lovely too. Thank you for making our last night so memorable!

We had an absolutely excellent experience at Nonnas! After a brief wait, we were shown to our table, a beautiful window seat. This is a tiny restaurant, open kitchen, few tables. Sidewalk seating is available, but we opted to enjoy the atmosphere inside. Paul Jr. was our waiter. Very attentive, and we never felt rushed. He was awesome. We started with Calamari and a house salad. Bread came too, buttery and warm. My wife ordered the Chicken Fettuccine, and I chose the Bolognese. Portions were huge! My meal was creamy, meaty, and delicious! We ordered a bottle of their house Red, which complimented dinner perfectly. We both loved our experience here and will definitely return!
