I went down to the front desk of my building to retrieve our order tonight to find the delivery person taking our hot food order out of the trunk. Not a big deal except it’s EIGHTEEN degrees out.
Everything was ice cold – literally. Cold. Not luke warm. COLD.
I called the ‘restaurant’ (and I use that word loosely) to advise. When the guy answered, I asked if I could speak to the owner. He said, “What do you need”. I told him it was about my order. He said to people in the background “she wants to talk to the owner”. He got back on and said “He’s not here – what do you need”. I told him I didn’t care for his rude attitude and our order came out of a trunk in eighteen degree weather and was ice cold, the calzone was thrown in a paper bag with no foil around it to attempt to keep it warm, they didnt have a box to fit the pizza so they folded the pizza over and that I’ll call back on Monday to talk to the owner to discuss. Based on the interaction, it appears I’m better off NEVER giving this place another penny and calling the department of health on Monday instead of the owner.

Awesome spot with friendly service and good prices. The best part about the pizza was the crust in my opinion. It tastes almost like sourdough and is the perfect crunch on the outside and light and chewy on the inside. The Livia salad was also really impressive and I loved how many people came in happy to see the folks behind the counter during our quick visit. You can tell Nonna’s is a critical key to the community they serve.

Ordered a white pizza with broccoli rabe and mushrooms. I asked if they had fresh mushrooms which they said they did. Only to see they put canned mushrooms on it. If looks as if they put the whole tub of ricotta con the pizza and just threw the broccoli rabe on top of it after it came out the oven.they didn’t even bother straining the water from the broccoli. So there’s water on my pizza. Disgusting. I won’t be ordering from nonnas anymore
