Reviews
I would only suggest introducing more fish options on the main menu and using more flat plates. The fries were a little too salty, but everything else was cooked to perfection, and the tiramisu was truly a delight.
Joshua is extremely professional and does his very best. He is one of the nicest staff members I’ve encountered in recent years and is truly an asset to the restaurant.
5 stars is because of him
We opted for the single roast, but the mega roast looks insane! 10/10 would definitely come again!
Unfortunately I didn’t have a booking but I was lucky enough to be sat. I’d recommend pre booking.
I had the avocado on toast with poached eggs and bacon. I was asked how I would like my bacon (crisps or standard)
It came quickly staff were very helpful and friendly. I also had a white coffee which was very good. I was offered hot or cold milk on the side.
I will definitely be returning when I’m in the area next
We were seated in a lovely tucked-away spot that gave us a sense of privacy — exactly what we wanted for our anniversary dinner. The food was incredible (the desserts especially — perfection), and the thoughtful touch at the end made it even more memorable.
Thank you, Nonnas, for giving us the kind of evening we’ll be talking about for a long time.
I phoned on a Thursday to make a reservation for the Sunday and so we were only able to get a table for just over an hour, this was plenty of time and the food came out quickly.
Can safely say this is one of the better roast dinner’s I’ve had – not stingy on the portion sizes and the food was just brilliant all round.
The bill came in at around £40pp including drinks and dessert / coffees, very reasonable for what you’re getting.
However, the food in my opinion just wasn’t at the standard I expected. The Neapolitan guy pizza that I ordered, I recommend that no one chooses. Was incredibly salty, so salty that it was inedible. I got multiple of my family to try it to see what they thought, and all expressed the exact same as what I said. The waitress explained to me that it’s a salty pizza in general which I understand as it had anchovies, capers and olives on it. But I’ve had anchovies and olives on pizza before and it wasn’t as salty as the one I got from this restaurant. I hate to say this on a review but I’ve been left with no choice as my stomach actually felt rough afterwards, but that pizza is the most disgusting pizza I’ve ever eaten. It killed my appetite.
Overall it’s a real shame because some of the pasta dishes looked amazing and tasted lovely. So when/if I return, I’ll be sure to get a pasta dish.
