We loved this place! We were from out of town and have two members of the family that are gluten free which usually makes most Italian restaurants difficult but they were able to easily accommodate us. Beyond that it is a very cute and well decorated place. We were just impressed all the way around.

Great service and atmosphere, woman at the counter was very helpful and polite. I had spaghetti with meatballs, wife tried the chicken alfredo linguine. Both were excellent!!! 10 yr old son said pepperoni pizza was the best he has ever had. We will be returning!!!

I had never been here before but really enjoyed it. It’s a different take on an Italian restaurant. You order when you first go in and then they bring the food to the table. There is a neat little dining area within a dining area that was very quiet and cute. There was Bench seating all the way around on the outside with tables pulled up to it. The service was excellent and made sure to check on us and get anything we needed. The food was delicious and servings were very large portions. The three of my family had the sampler platter which we were only able to eat half of and brought the other half home. For $30 to feed three of us was an excellent deal.

Great food. A solid high-end Italian taste, a happy atmosphere, pretty affordable, but not cheap. Got the ham and cheese(ricotta and mozzarella) calzone. I got the best marinara sauce to dip it in. Great experience. I highly recommend.

This place is amazing. The flavor was superb. Here is our experience: When we pulled up, I was concerned that it may be another sports pizzeria. My husband went in first and came out and said it was not a sports bar. We decided to try it. At first, I was taken off guard by the ordering at the front then having it brought to my table. I was concerned the food was going to taste like other fast food. Our salads came first and they were pleasant. The main course was so impressive. The flavor was absolutely delicious. My husband and I both said it was very delicious and we would eat there again and again. I also had a margarita on the rocks. The flavor was well balanced. I would recommend this place to anyone. The potions are wow

Would be 0 stars if possible. Not a good experience at all. First, I walked in and waited a couple minutes as the host was on the phone. He didn’t even look up from the phone when I walked in. Another employee came up to me and took care of me: was going to check on my food, didn’t come back until the host got off the phone and said he would check too. The first employee finally came back and told me an item was missed on the ticket and it would be 10 more mins. I told them it was totally fine, I work in the food industry so I get it, and took our drinks out to the car and waited. I came back in and the order was ready for me, if you could say that. The to-go containers were very cheap styrofoam which was not impressive. Now I’m very confused as to what I ordered vs what I ate. This is the gluten free “calzone”, which is literally just a pizza folded, which is not in any way what they have it as on the menu, and gluten free “cheese bread”, which is just a cheese pizza without sauce. both were dry, not flavorful, and not a joy to eat at all. couldn’t finish two pieces. I didn’t want pizza because I’m a manager at a pizzeria, and it looks like every item I ordered ended up being a pizza anyways. My girlfriend ordered the basil pesto pasta, some of the noodles were hard and obviously not cooked correctly. she also ordered the cheese bread, and you could tell the ingredients and toppings on it are cheap and not impressive quality. We spend $80 on the meal, not worth the price at all. And the food ended up making us feel sick, like we had rocks in our stomachs. Would never recommend.

We ordered Nonna’s for our family reunion dinner. It was great! They had plenty of options including vegetarian and gluten free. Conveniently 5 minutes from the hotel we were staying at. DELICIOUS stuffed cheese bread! I wish I had gotten a picture but it was gone by the time I realized it.

Weird that we had to order/pay at register then get our table but, ok. Tour of Italy omg I could’ve taken the sauce home and made a meal or 2 for my neighbors. Yuk! So much sauce!! Lasagna, was old tasting and it really just wasn’t very good. 🙁 “Ryan’s pepperoni cheese bread sticks and the service was the best part of our experience.

Nonna’s is the best Italian food in Plainfield. Must tries on the menu include Ryan Breadsticks and their Stromboli. I enjoyed dine more when they first opened since now they are a order at the counter/self serve restaurant although I understand the need to adapt with the lack of staff. Every time I order for carry out it is hot and fresh when I pick it up. If you like Italian food and are in the Plainfield area I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat!
