Top of the top. Would drive back all the way from New York for another dining experience. Pizza is home made and top quality, get extra cheese and you’ll get a bicep workout trying to hold up a slice. Hot honey on it too was the move. Got a meatball sub and the meatballs didn’t have any taste of being frozen. Tasted like hand rolled meatballs from ground beef. It really did feel like an authentic taste of Italy. all high quality ingredients here

Had a chance to check out their new location. Very nice spot and conveniently located downtown. They are right next to Molly Pitcher brewery which is nice to grab some local beer and bring it in with you. We had great service and no complaints with the food. We were a large group and tried several different items off the menu. It was nice to finally sit and enjoy their food in house in stead of just take out. Can’t wait to get back.

I wanted to leave a better review. Unfortunately the chicken parm was a bit disappointing. I’ve tried a bite of someone else chicken parm from here and it was amazing, whatever I was served was unlike that sandwich. The bread was soggy and the chicken parm was soft and soaked in oil. The flavor was good. The cannoli was to die for probably the best I’ve ever had. The service was great. They warned me about not being able to accept card and gave an accurate time for pickup.

Nonna Ilva now open at 141 W High. Bigger kitchen and seating. Bigger menu. Still great pizza, but we went for Valentine’s today and had bruschetta and ham and prosciutto croquettes for starters. Amazing ravioli and rigatoni amatriciana. Chef brought me some oysters too and they were perfect. Finished with tiramisu that wasn’t too sweet. We loved everything. Go check them out. You won’t regret it. We’re going back for brunch tomorrow. Super nice chef and server.

Delicious!! Really great pizza. We ordered the Salsiccia and it was very well done. We’ve lived in Italy and this pizza was on par. Not overly done, not over sauced, not overflowing with toppings, you could taste every ingredient and nothing overpowered. We can’t wait to try more. I heard they were going to expand to a bigger location, which we would love for dining in options.

Might be the best pizza I’ve ever had, definitely in the top 3. Ordered a small Margherita pizza and it was delicious, and a lot bigger than I expected for the price. Wish this place was closer to me.

My wife and I found this local eatery tucked in historic Carlisle, PA. We were immediately met with a friendly smile, paired with thorough explanations of items available on the delicious menu. I was very happy with my chicken parm panini…bread baked to perfection with a just the right amount of crispiness and a touch of olive oil which complemented the overall flavor. The Mrs opted for a meatball sub with homemade meatballs and a wonderful red sauce. We were too full to enjoy one of the Italian sweets, but the gentleman behind the counter offered us a taste of the gelato…I highly recommend the salted caramel! We are certainly excited to return and sample other options… including the Arch of Happiness dessert which is only available Thursday through Saturday. And the price is on par with what you might expect for a privately owned and operated business. Thanks for a great dinner experience!!!

We thought we would try the new location yesterday. We ordered a large cheese pizza & 2 dinners. The pizza was full of big burnt bubbles. I should’ve looked at it before I carried it out. Definitely was not serving quality! The antres were Riggitoni Carbonara & the Truffle mushroom & sausage fettuccine. Both were a big disappointment! For the price I say save your money! There’s a bunch of pizza places to choose from in Carlisle.

First time enjoying from DoorDash and it was fantastic! Everyone was raving about the pizza and sub! Toppings were plentiful and the crust/dough was on point! The sub had great amounts meats, cheese and freshly chopped!! Veggies!!

Customer service was a delight. I was personally called to notify me of an ingredient that was sold out….,the lovely person offered multiple options to satisfy the order and was super patient and very present when speaking to me.

I will be ordering again and sharing this gem with others!

Thank you for such a great experience!

Awesome comfy interior, great robust menu. Love the pasta and the pizza has such a nostalgic homemade feel – crispy, yummy sauce, tons of options. Also, it’s maybe a 3 minute walk from my house – which helps.
