Went today 12/22/25. Sandwich was solid, however they don’t use gloves when handling the items to create the sandwich. My soda expired a month ago and was flat. Wouldn’t go back.

We all had a different sandwich and they were all great! Outside seating close to the freeway, but in a nice day it was lovely. They have a bathroom that can be used. Also, the inside of the sandwich roll is the best part! You can all for it after they dig it out to make room for your fillings. Soooo good!

The sandwiches here are super good! There should be a line out of the door every day! Ordered the Nona’s and added fresh mozzarella. Glad I stumbled upon this subtle little spot! It’s a true gem! I’ve been looking for a good Italian deli in Ventura County and this a great one! Don’t miss this place! Wish they would a little bit more meat to the sandwiches but the quality is there and it’s super fresh!

Gem of a deli subtly placed inside a liquor store. The sandwiches are fresh, substantial, and their bread is delicious! My go-to order is the Nona. Exceptional!

I love this place. In my opinion they have the best sandwiches in town! I always get “The Nona” but their other sandwiches are good too. The bread is always soft, the meats are of good quality, and the ratio of ingredients is just right. The only gripe I have is their hours: they have limited hours so there have been times I was unable to satiate my cravings. They have a rewards program too so if you do go, make sure to pick up a stamp!

Great sandwiches. My go-tos are the “Godmother” and the “Pollo” which is chicken salad. The place is based in a well stocked liquor store which also means you can get any drink (soda) you want to go with the sandwich.

Mixed feelings, grew up in north Jersey, home of dank Italian sandwiches. It’s good for Gold Coast but Italian sandwich it was in name only. American cheese and mayo vs mozzarella and balsamic vinegar in the signature sandwich? Nice people though.

Food had been good but today my sandwich had very very little meat. Also, service was quite unfriendly. The woman said absolutely nothing to me but “what do you want” and “that’s $7.29″.” But, t’s a decent bite if you’re in a pinch. They do still have great bread.
