The starter bread and butter was lovely.
The sushi was good.
It wasn’t overly fancy but was priced fairly based on the other dishes. 2 of us split 3 rolls and it was plenty of food
The menu here was pretty complex with most of the dishes having a 2-3 line description.
The short ribs were seemingly the best choice in our group.
The desert presentation was nice but I didn’t love the flour less chocolate cake with mascarpone and pistachio ice cream.
NoMI is truly one of those places that gets it right on every level. From the moment you walk in, the views alone set the tone — stunning, sweeping cityscapes that instantly make the experience feel special, romantic, and elevated. During the holidays, it’s even more magical. The Christmas décor and twinkling city lights create the most beautiful, cozy-yet-luxe atmosphere that feels straight out of a holiday movie.
The drinks were phenomenal — expertly crafted cocktails and mocktails that were just as thoughtful as they were delicious. Balanced, festive, and beautifully presented, every sip felt indulgent and celebratory.
Now let’s talk about the food — the NoMI platter was absolute perfection. Fresh, flavorful, and stunningly presented. Every bite was intentional, refined, and incredibly satisfying. This is the kind of dish you savor slowly because it’s just that good.
The ambiance is chic and intimate, the service attentive, and the overall vibe effortlessly sophisticated without feeling stiff. Add in the holiday glow, breathtaking city views, and impeccable food and drinks, and you truly have an unforgettable experience.
If you’re looking for the perfect date night, holiday dinner, or special-occasion spot, NoMI is an easy yes. Festive, elegant, and absolutely worth it ✨
We ordered a glass of Berry Smoothie, a glass of Iced Latte , a Lobster Roll Sandwich and a Fried chicken and French toast.
Those were very delicious.
The staffs were very nice and helpful.
It was a nice day. We had a lunch outside.
The service left a lot to be desired as well.
Pictured is their restaurant week menu. The first course was their “soup,” followed by a pork loin and some prawns. The pork loin tasted like something your mom makes on a busy day. Salt and pepper on a shrink-wrapped pork loin, straight into the oven. Nothing memorable, nothing elevated, and definitely not worth the hype.
My cocktail was a nice surprise, smoky and sweet, with a balanced flavor that paired well with the meal. Service was smooth, the presentation was beautiful, and the overall vibe made it a standout brunch experience. Definitely planning to come back soon!
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-quality dining experience in Chicago!
