Got the coconut shrimp and rice and was extremely satisfied! The shrimp was hot and fresh! Loved the sweet chili sauce on the side to dunk it in. Rice was soft and cooked well. Macaroni pasta salad added in was a surprise but creamy and good! This food truck was a rare find and happy to have tried! Just fyi cash only.

Cash only! And drive around the traffic circle all the way and you’ll see it, otherwise it’s easy to miss. But you’ll be glad you found it.

Nome Ono does not have an extensive menu, but if the rest of their lineup was as good as the shrimp fried rice it’s worth the trip. They offer four or five versions of fried rice. And they have five or six entrees that they serve with steamed rice. Most choices are $18 as of today. Had I been here on my own I likely would have had one of the shrimp entrees – probably garlic shrimp or possibly coconut shrimp. But I was with my wife and she wanted the shrimp fried rice, so that’s what we went with. Easily enough for both of us, with probably seven or eight shrimp and a huge pile of well-seasoned rice with a chopped up fried egg tossed in. We had just arrived on the island and wanted a light lunch and it was perfect.

There are a handful of tables with benches with a cover to keep you out of the direct sun, and there’s a beautiful view just off to the side. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re anywhere in the neighborhood.

The best steak fried rice ever. My husband and I come back everything we come and visit. I highly recommend going to this food truck. Amazing food.

Hawaiian Chop Steak was the bomb. 10 stars out of 5. Great seasoning with veggies in a stir fry. Large helping. Generous with beef. All was fresh with 2 scoops of rice and a scoop of creamer macaroni salad. (Canned drinks avsilable)
Large while food truck parked under a Banyan tree. Adjacent area had covered picnic benches and there were open tables available overlooking a lovely large pond (this where we set).

We got the spicy garlic shrimp and the beef fried rice. The spicy garlic shrimp were good but not my favorite since it wasn’t spicy at all it was more creamier. The beef on the other hand was extra flavorful and so delicious. We also got the macaroni salad which was really good too! I definitely recommend anyone stop and support this small business. Be very patient since it is only 1 person working.

This is a basic roadside setup, but the food is excellent! There are two food trucks side by side, get the coconut shrimp (freshly fried, crunchy, beautifully cooked fresh shrimp) which comes with rice and a scoop of Mac salad. Then, grab a fresh coconut from the truck next door and they will open it freshly for you. It can be busy with lots of folks but the food is fresh and delicious.

This is place is a hidden gem.
We were hungry after the byodo-in temple and thought of trying this food truck.
To our surprize the the spicy garlic shrimp was delicious, couldn’t take pictures of the food. But definitely try this place.

Fantastic little food spot. The area is really pretty and the food comes out hot, fresh, and fast. We had the spicy shrimp and loved it.

Small parking lot. A good amount of seating. Cash only so come prepared.

Place was covered in flys because of the trash can out front being over filled. View is beautiful though. Shrimp wasn’t peeled so had to peel with all the funky garlic/cream sauce stuff on it which wasn’t very good. Had asked for a combo plate and guys response was “this isn’t made to order you get what you get now what do you want”. There was another customer that just gave back his steak and rice order because he said he didn’t like the taste and that it wasn’t steak. Shrimp was filled with grease and rice was hard. Not worth an extra drive to me. I’d rather have tried a different spot.

Local Island eating at its finest! This was the best shrimp truck we have had so far. The shrimp has this unique textured garlic sauce and comes with a side of rice and Mac salad $17 each. CASH ONLY!! Worth the drive. There’s a Thai truck right next to it and a fruit stand. The fruit stand next door has an amazing Pineapple/Coconut/Mango drink $10! CASH ONLY. Parking is minimal.
