We visited for an after-party last Sat night. Among the food we ordered, the pork ribs were so undercooked they were practically bloody. We called the server over to discuss the food’s condition, and without even a word of apology, they offered to replace it with fried squid. We accepted this and waited, but after 20 minutes, it still hadn’t arrived, so we asked for a refund. While waiting, one of our party asked again when it would come out, and a young staff member who had taken our bill pointed at us and said, “If that’s how you feel, just leave.” Most of the people in our party were in their 50s and 60s. We felt so rude and upset that we just left, but this doesn’t seem right. One of our companions runs a restaurant nearby and knows the owner of this shop, so we’ll discuss it separately, but it was truly unpleasant. Not only was there no apology for the bloody food, but it’s also hard to accept such rude behavior, like pointing a finger and practically kicking out someone who could be their father. We spent about $500 in an hour, but they practically chased us out. It was extremely unpleasant, and I never want to go back. I especially wouldn’t recommend it to middle-aged customers.

A hidden gem found by accident as I stayed in the Doubletree by Hilton nearby. Excellent beef dish with sprouts and tried for the first time silkworm pulpo soup which was better than I expected once I got over the idea and look of it. Some drunk noisy obnoxious patrons to be expected but otherwise had a great meal in a small mom and pop Korean resto. Will definitely come back and try other dishes. The waitress was also very nice and although she could not speak very well English she was very polite, nice and attentive.

A hidden gem that was full of great music and delicious food. Both my plates were delicious and didn’t take long to come out. The vibe of this place is amazing and welcoming. There wasn’t too many people when I went but thats okay because I was able to enjoy the music. The staff was very kind and attentive. The servings were pretty big and worth every penny!

Delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. We really enjoyed the BBQ pork belly, soy garlic chicken, and rose tteokbokki that we ordered. The service was quick and friendly, and this would be a great place to go on a date or have a social dinner.

The owner, whom I have known for a long time, said that she opened a restaurant in Buena Park, but since the opening time is 5 PM, it was difficult to find the time to visit, so I couldn’t visit.
However, she recently changed the opening time and opened for lunch, so I visited last week.
I had Rosé Tteokbokki, So-tteok So-tteok, and Sweet Potato Fries, and the food was all good.
One thing I wish could be improved is the decoration and interior. The concept of this place is to approach young customers with a comfortable atmosphere, but the scribbles covering the tables and walls didn‘t look very good.

I’m not much of a seafood kinda gal so don’t take my experience here for granted. The calmari was a little over cooked I think. It wasn’t tender like I thought it would be. Maybe I could be wrong and that’s how it’s suppose to be. The taste was great with the sauce and batter. I also tried the spicy kimchi soup. Once again not my cup of tea, but it wasn’t bad. It’s enough for two, but not quite filling. A little expensive for my pocket. But for some you might enjoy this intriguing type of food.

Don’t sleep on this spot
Starting from beginning to end, the complimentary nachos have a flavor that is a new experience, the sesame dressing on the salad should be bottled and sold, and the rest of the food is something to think back on. The staff is so attentive and kind with fun music to carry the mood without being overbearing.
The owner is incredibly passionate about her flavors and it absolutely shows. There is plenty of seating, parking is convenient, and this is the place to be late night. Everything we tried was delicious and will be bringing us back anytime we are in OC.
