Great crawfish. Wasn’t disappointed. Crawfish is extremely spicy. The spice really sits in your mouth. The sides were off. Not sure if the heat lamp was still cooking them but were very mushy and dry.

Usually, this place has good food. I get the tripe sometimes and it’s chewy, spicy and highly flavorful. Lately, the folks been mixing old and fresh tripe. NOLA if you’re viewing this and value your customers, PLEASE STOP THIS PRACTICE!

Ok I am not going to completely dislike the place but I will say if u have a problem with your stomach and spicy food stay clean away from the crawfish, I usually can handle a ton of spices being I’m from here but I could not enjoy them until I rebolied them myself… now the sausage was great and the turkey neck was great too.. but I will not be back not because no flavor but it’s just so much pepper u cant enjoy your meal

I went to Nola Seafood on 10/10/2025 and purchased boiled meat and potatoes and that’s all I ate that day! On 10/11/2025 I woke up vomiting and a bad stomach ache . Come to find out I had food poisoning!! I will never go back again! That was my 1st and last time.

Been coming to nolas for years on the strength i grew up eating here its in the area i grew up in. When nolas is right, THEY RIGHT! But when they’re wrong they’re big wrong. My biggest issue with nolas is the inconsistency. It’s nothing wrong with the spicy & hot crawfish, but i miss the days when they were more seasoned than spicy. Sometimes the crawfish be SO HOT you literally cant eat! Im talking about the type of hot that gives chest and stomach pain and sends you into mental confusion.There have been times i came and spent $60 and had to throw the crawfish away (numerous times) but like i said when they get it right they get it all the way right. As a customer who has been a customer for years i strongly encourage yall to build some consistency with seasoning and flavor.Sometimes its like playing russian roulette but one thing i can say is they always have crawfish! Thats one other good thing about it and its never a wait! The crawfish could be cleaner too some days. Like i said the inconsistency be there but ill still pop in and support because WHEN THEY ARE RIGHT THEY ARE RIGHT!
