Not too many ramen choices on the menu. The chicken leg in the signature Soy Sauce Tori Paitan was tender and well-seasoned, the ramen broth was rich and delicious but salty. The texture of ramen noodles was a bit tough.

Best ramen experience I’ve had in SF!
The chicken thigh was packed with flavor, even inside the meat (you know when it’s seasoned just right ). The broth was so rich and creamy, but perfectly balanced, not too salty and not too plain either. Everything came together so well, from the texture of the noodles to the depth of the broth. I left super satisfied and already craving it again. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to!

Overall disappointing. Seemed like a limited set of ramen options for a restaurant with ramen in its name. Nothing with beef. Ordered the Tokyo Ramen. Included pork slices were thin and exceptionally lean and dry. Broth wasn’t very flavorful. Only QR code ordering available seemed unnecessarily impersonal. $5 for hot tea and they apparently out of green and jasmine options. Wouldn’t think that would be difficult to source in SF.

Got seated right away as a group of 4 at 6 pm on a Friday. Assume a 15-20 minute wait though. The signature ramen with the chicken leg is delicious! Split a spice ball on the side with someone. Creamy chicken broth and a nice flavor with the spice ball addition!

That bowl of ramen had amazing texture and good taste. I went with their specialty, which was the first time I’ve had a braised chicken thigh served in ramen. To be honest, the chicken was pretty bland and didn’t elevate the dish. The broth was rich and delicious but not too heavy, and the karage was the highlight for me.

Amazing atmosphere, amazing service, and even better Ramen! I love the snug space, and low lights with the buzzing atmosphere filled with dozens of voices, each in their own world. The food was the best, I love the Ramen here, and cant beat that Sapporo on Tap.

Oisii Ramen.

It was my first visit at Nojo Tavern and I had this Tan Tan Spicy Ramen. It hit the spot. I travel around and have different kinds of Ramen but Nojo’s Tan Tan is a really good one.
The broth, thick noodles and Cilantro toppings was the best. It was my first time having ramen without Chasyu-Pork instead they have this Grounded chicken mixed with the broth which is more flavorful and delicious.
This Ramen is the recommendation to people who love spicy flavor Ramen noodles.

Excellent Raman noodles. Broth was tasty and not too salty. Shio paitan with chicken meatballs had good flavor and not overpowering. Tokyo style ramen was also legit with two slices of cha siu. I really like their appetizers, nanban chickens, fried calamari and gyoza were all delicious and hot when they were served. Went there at 5 pm without no wait, and the line got longer getting close to 6 pm on Thursday. Service was good with staff refilling our glasses with water several times on their own. This is a great quick eat close to concert hall and opera house. I will come back to try their other items on the menu.

We got lucky with a quick seat here at Nojo, and it was at the bar where we saw the chefs do their thing in the kitchen. The open restaurant is a cool concept and always fun to see.

The restaurant has a QR code that allows you to pay and take orders through their online app. It makes it convenient and helps with the flow of the restaurant.

We ordered the popular items – Spicy Tan Tan, Soy Sauce Ramen and their half and half fries.

Spicy Tan Tan had just enough kick to feel a burn but not enough to overpower. Very flavorful and rich. Highly recommend this dish.

Soy Sauce Ramen felt lighter and had a more herbal taste which is great for those who want a lighter meal for the night.

Half and Half fries are a must try. The truffle oil is incredible.

Loved this restaurant. It felt very exciting being inside with it being so lively.

Excellent tomato ramen. Rare to see on a menu that isn’t for vegetarians. The beer and gyoza combo for $10 is a fantastic deal! The weizen beer is light and refreshing. Always crowded so space is a bit cramped and meant for a quick meal. Overall a great ramen spot for lunch or a quick dinner.
