Four of us ate outside in beautiful, historic downtown Stonington. We had the blackbean nachos for appetizer. The chips were wonderful, as well as all the toppings. Two of us got BLTs and two of us, including myself, got the 6oz Noah burgers. The food was delicious, especially the homefries that we got in place of chips. The service was right on as well. My reasoning of giving 4 stars is that the prices on line said the BLTs and burgers were $10 each, but in reality were $14 & $15 respectively. Also the portions could have been larger, especially with the 40% & 50% food increase.

Nana’s isn’t the same. Breakfast has always been good, so we returned again – but this was our first time for lunch and the menu was misleading – the bulgogi (surprised no gochujong ingredient) short rib with Asian slaw lettuce wraps had NO short rib – it was another thin cut of overcooked beef and hardly what I would call an Asian slaw – it was not good. I spoke to another friend who had the same experience with a different cut of meat in their lettuce wraps (not short rib as advertised). Wings were flavorless without sauce too. I wish someone had warned me, so I’m writing a review. The lettuce wraps presented to me:

We had a great experience here. Walked in as a group of 6 on the later side. The hostess was able to find us a table and a few extra chairs which worked great. The food was very solid. Atmosphere was energetics, but not too loud. Very nice experience indeed.

Dropped in for dinner. Got the lobster with green beans for the main course. Got a little messy breaking open the shells to pick at the meat. Lucky I was supplied with a bib. Finished off with the apple crisp. The apple crisp would have been better if it was hot.

Noah’s a restaurant located in historic Stonington Village. We had lunch on a Wednesday. Itwas a rainy, cold winter day and was very busy. Not surprising. The food is cooked fresh with fresh ingredients and very generous portions. Our server was a gentleman who was very friendly and attentive. They are open for breakfast, lunch and diner. A must try when in the area.

Nice little restaurant, in a very old, and historic building. The food here is terrific. We stopped in for a bite, while we were traveling coastal Connecticut. Their carrot ginger Soup is very delicious. They have quite a few dessert options. The desserts are in a case so that you can look at them, and make your decision. Our waitress was great, and everything here was perfect. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Easter “Brunch” Strawberry Shortcake” Pancakes, Korean Bulgogi Lettuce wraps, Eggs Benedict with a ham slice that was ON POINT, and Andouille Sausage that had a GREAT amount of kick. (One of the best I’ve had ever!)

We had the chicken quesadilla and the guacamole, both of which were very good and generously portioned. In addition, we had the salmon cake, which unfortunately was too doughy and mushy, and didn’t have much salmon flavor. We also had the spicy peppers which were served with a dipping sauce, and that was excellent.

I was pleasantly surprised by Noah’s. I must admit I went in expecting a run of the mill restaurant offering standard New England seafood fare. It’s also worth noting that there’s nothing wrong with standard New England fare if that’s what I’m in the mood for. My fears were heightened even more when I looked at the menu and saw they were offering items like Asian Noodles and Boro bowls!! What is going on here in Stonington!?!!. For starters we ordered the black bean nachos with bulgolgi which was excellent. I rolled the dice with my entree and ordered the (Hand made)Asian noodles with scallops and shrimp. This dish did not disappoint. My wife ordered the burger which was constructed perfectly by a German engineer. The ratio of bun and burger were perfect, the meat was juicy and seasoned well. My mother ordered one of the fluke dishes which everyone enjoyed as well. The only minor issue is with the decor which is a bit dated. In the end it won’t stop me from coming back and enjoying the great food and excellent service. I can’t believe I waited this long to try Noah’s. We will be back soon.
