We had a lovely meal here. I felt like the flavors in the main dishes were well balanced, the menu had beautiful variety, and service was excellent. The cocktails were good but a bit too sweet for my preference. That said, I still think they were creative and I ordered two. I’m still thinking about the beets & burrata 24 hours later though. Definitely the highlight!

Holy WOW! There are not enough amazing things to mention about this establishment. Attention to detail? Check! Character? Check! Exceptional customer service? DOUBLE CHECK!!

Whether you’re looking for an intimate place to share your time with somebody special, or you’re hoping to reconnect with a small group of people, this place will make you feel seen, heard, and last but not least FEDDDD!

The food has no notes. The drinks were exceptionally high in quality. Run! Don’t walk. Please ask for Olia, and then… definitely order the Pistachio Gooey Butter Cake 😉

Went here on a Friday night. Parking is tough right now with construction around the restaurant, but it should not stop you from going. Dinner was very good. We ordered several things to share, including the cashews, roasted red pepper walnut dip, couscous salad, short rib, meatballs, and hanger steak. Everything was flavorful and well cooked. The short rib and hanger steak stood out for execution, and the dips were great for the table. Dessert was excellent. The gooey butter cake was the highlight and a strong finish.

The cocktail list is a real strength. Pigs on the Wing and Lillian’s Revenge were both well balanced and not overly sweet. My main critique was service. It was slower than expected with no clear reason. The cashews took longer than they should have for what is essentially a bar snack, and later we waited a while for the dessert menu and at times for water. Overall, still worth it and very good. Parking is a hassle for now, and service may have just been an off night.

Currently one of my favorite places to eat. the restaurant has nice ambiance, great food that is super great with the best service. It also has super nice craft cocktails. i have been 5 times in the past month. The onion rings are a must try there is a nice french dip that you can dip them in. I got the monk fish which is grilled to perfection with a nice crunch mediterranean style with sautéed tomatoes. My friend has the flank steak that taste like butter. please try this place. the brussels were so darn good the sauce alone i saved and ate with my fish. the gooey butter cake was great also, not too sweet like most are.

Outstanding, Happy Hour!

One of the best things about being retired is having the ability to attend an early in the day, Happy Hour. No Ordinary Rabbit has its HH, 3PM – 5 PM. Most people are still at work, but us retirees can go and have basically the entire place to ourselves.

My BFF and I went yesterday to celebrate her birthday early. It was the first time for both of us and we were totally gobsmacked. The cocktails were masterfully prepared and the appetizers aka small plates were impressive, too. The linen napkins, gold flatware and the stemware used for the cocktails added to the total experience.

I am a fan of Onion Rings and theirs are made in house and I recommend that you order them. They’re on the smaller size, so they’ll not be super filling. I also recommend the Whipped Feta and their House Potato Chips with “special sauce”. You’ll be pleased with all of these. They’ll be perfect accompaniments to your cocktails.

While we celebrated the birthday, I enjoyed three different cocktails. Don’t judge me, I’m retired and can drink in the middle of the day. I started off with, No Ordinary Rabbit. It’s one of their, N.O.R. cocktails and is made with rye, one of my favorite liquors. I would have had a second one, but I am a vodka man and wanted to try their Wet Martini. Then my third cocktail to wrap up the celebration was an, Old Fashioned. All three were outstanding. I loved watching the bartender make our drinks from the table. She was masterful in her skills. The drinks were so good, I tipped her separately as I exited the restaurant.

In addition to my drinks, my friend had her own. Just look at my posted pictures and know that she gave them a thumbs up, too.

The ambiance is super cool and relaxing. It’s rather chic and contemporary. While you are there, be sure to go and check out the non-gender restrooms. One of them has a green toilet and the other is gold. After seeing the green one, I had t peek in and see what color the other one was when I was returning to my table.

Service was attentive and friendly.

Overall love the vibe of this place. Food and cocktails were tasty and creative; it has the potential to be one of my favorite spots in town. Still, there were a few issues NOR needs to address – we had a 7pm seating, and the restaurant ran out of 3 dishes we tried to order. Looking at reviews here and elsewhere, this is an ongoing issue. Additionally, our server had the entire back room to herself. She was amazing and did the best she could, but food service was overall slow, and dishes took wayyy too long to come out from the kitchen. Multiple times we were told the kitchen staff was “a little backed up.” We even canceled one of our entrees due to the length of time it took. We certainly look forward to trying it again and hope this was merely an off night for the team.

Housed in the former Nixta space, No Ordinary Rabbit has not only met but exceeded the legacy of its predecessor.

Plenty of space at the bar early on a Saturday evening. The cocktail menu is expansive without being overwhelming, and everyone should be able to find something that suits their taste. Additionally, the wine menu is full of options to fit anyone’s desires.

The full dinner menu doesn’t come on until 5pm, so I went with the sardines just for something different and was very surprised how well the bread, sardine, salt, and lemon went together for a nice and light dinner substitute.

Now for the cocktails… wonderfully mixed and flavorful, so much so the alcohol really creeps up without notice.

Love this place! Reservations gets you in the back room where it is not as loud. Walk ins can sit the front room or the outdoor seating. Food is top notch! Try the sable. Divine! My wife says even the dishware brought her joy. If you are near Tower Grove, check them out. Fantastic service.

Amazing drink selection and even more amazing food. Try any and everything. You will not be disappointed. Monk fish was hands down some of the best fish I’ve ever had. The white chocolate pistachio bread pudding was a revelation. Grab it if they have either of those two!!

I am so glad that we decided to stop in at this great little restaurant. The ambience is very inviting. Everyone on staff was friendly and made our visit wonderful. Drinks are great and we loved the food. We had the gnocchi and chicken and also the red snapper. I would highly recommend both of them. Great little spot, don’t miss out on this gem!
