I’ve been to Number One New York Pizza several times, and every time I pull up—it’s crowded. Doesn’t matter if it’s early evening or late night, the spot stays busy. But honestly? That’s how you know it’s good.
This place is just a few blocks from my hotel in Manhattan, and even though I’ve been staying in the area since 2016, it took me a minute to actually check it out. Glad I did. Now it’s a regular stop.
Menu’s got all kinds of slices—plain cheese, pepperoni, sausage, veggie, you name it. My go-to is two cheese slices to go, and it never disappoints. Classic New York slice, crispy crust, cheesy, flavorful. And the price is solid for being in the heart of the city. No tourist trap prices here.
Inside seating is technically available, but it fills up fast. Outside seating is your best bet if the weather’s right. Otherwise, grab it to go and keep it moving. This isn’t the kind of place you chill for an hour—it’s a classic grab-and-go NYC pizza stop. But that’s the vibe.
Pro tip: if you see a crowd, don’t get discouraged. The line moves quick, and the pizza’s worth the wait.
Great food. Affordable prices. Iconic New York energy.

Great customer service. Food is done in a timely manner and is very consistent. I recently relocated from New York so good pizza is a must. They make a good pie. Their chicken fingers are not bad either.

2 stars. One for being polite and the other for being fast.
I ordered from No. 1 New York Pizza recently. The service was fast—less than 5 minutes—and the woman who took my order was very polite. Unfortunately, the stromboli was really disappointing. The dough was undercooked and gummy, and the meat had a strange texture that reminded me of meals I had to eat just to survive during harder times. Also, there’s hardly any cheese in it.
Just because the locals love it doesn’t mean it’s good. This didn’t feel like New York pizza at all—more like something rushed and low-quality. I’m not asking for a refund, but I do hope they take this feedback seriously, because it has potential to be much better.
On a side note, they had horchata on the menu—which is unusual for a pizza shop—but I didn’t try it. The inside was fairly clean, your typical pizza shop setup. They also offered beef patties and something called a “Mexican pizza.” If you care about soda options, they serve Pepsi here, which I personally prefer.

If you’re looking for authentic flavor and great service in Marion Oaks, look no further. I’ve been a client for years and I can confidently say this is the best pizza in town. They don’t skimp on quality ingredients, and the customer service is excellent—always friendly and fast. A local staple that deserves five stars!

In my opinion, its doesnt taste like New York Pizza… Born & Raised in NYC. Im in NYC every few weeks and I can say that the pizza doesnt taste the same. Other than that, the place is nice, the staff is nice, the food is good, just not NYC quality.

Almost a 2-hour wait for a pizza is unacceptable. The delivery took forever, with no proper updates or explanation. It’s hard to justify tipping well when the service is this slow. This place seriously needs to work on timing and customer communication. Looking back at my home camera delivery guy didn’t talk, never gave a receipt all he did was just stare at me as if I had 10 heads. Not ordering delivery again if the service is this bad and slow.

If you want a real authentic New York slice, this is the only place (within Central Florida) that can grace your taste buds with it. From the Stromboli, to the calzone, to the chicken roll to the siciliana, all the way around to the pizza lunch special. You will not be disappointed!

I’ve been going to this pizzeria spot for over 13 years. It’s one of the best NY style pizza joints in Ocala. The staff is super friendly and their prices are fair. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for NY style pizza.

Pretty much the only place open after 7pm on a Sunday. Pizza was delicious. Nice crunchy crust and the sauce was fantastic! Service was really good and the pizza didn’t take long at all. It’s a small place just perfect for a quiet dine in. They offer other scrumptious goodies like Stromboli’s , salads, calzones and chicken rolls. They do deliver and take out as well. Prices are reasonable.

This place has the yummiest gyro I ever had. Not only was it delicious it was so filled that when I ate it pieces fell atop the fries and I was blessed with another scrumptious side of gyro fries. The Mediterranean Pizza was so cheesy, the tomatoes juicy and crust crunchy such perfection. The gentleman that took my order over the phone was super kind too. I ordered a Mediterranean Pizza and a Gyro deluxe mouthwatering photos included!
