Best tasting china buffet ever ! Everything I tried was above expectations ! Being from south Louisiana where food comes first. This place can hold its own with any 5star restaurant in any big city ! Great Food !

The food was good but it was barely warm. The waiter stood by the restroom , not in the restroom, and coughed up cold. The staff had an argument in their language.

Great local spot. Great service, nice variety of food that is consistently good, accessible for families with needs. Bathroom sometimes smells like the nail salon next door, but overall a great place.

This is by far one of the best Chinese places I’ve ever ate!! Personally, I love to get the buffet so I can get a little bit of everything. The staff is so friendly and so happy to have you there. If you come often, they remember you. This is hands down the best Chinese place anywhere!! Great environment! Great prices!! 10/10 recommend!

Honestly only Chinese food within 50 miles. The egg drop is is normally really good. They make a noodle dish I like. The California roll is good. They have got the where they are putting spicy dishes mostly on buffet so had to quit eating buffet. The sesame chicken is good. The wait staff is attentive. Now days I just call in my order and pick it up on my way to work. They are not open on Mondays at all. If they got in a nicer building and got a larger buffet setup they would be better. If you go in and have Verizon do not think you are going to have much if any service. The whole area they are in is like that.if you are sensitive to msg do not eat there or make sure and order off menu and tell them no msg.

After recently moving to Thomasville and exploring the limited restaurant options in the area, I decided to try out No 1 China restaurant in Jackson during a trip back from Mobile. With a promising 4.5-star rating and being conveniently located just 25 minutes from my house, my expectations were high.

Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed that it was bustling with activity, indicating its popularity. The food was served piping hot, and the overall cleanliness of the place was commendable, although the decor seemed a bit outdated.

As a connoisseur of Chinese cuisine with experiences from various regions like the California coast, the northwest, and the East Coast, I have encountered a wide range of Chinese food styles. The dishes at No 1 China, while decent, did not quite meet the expectations set by the high rating. For example, the Kung Pao chicken, which I have enjoyed in different styles before, was deep-fried at this restaurant, which may be a stylistic choice but was different from what I expected.

Despite the mixed experience, I may give No 1 China another chance in the future due to the limited dining options in the area. However, the initial excitement I had before visiting has somewhat diminished, and I will approach future visits with slightly lower expectations.
