This was my second time visiting & I must say that I had an amazing experience! The customer service was absolutely outstanding — the owner was friendly, attentive, and made me feel truly welcome from the moment we walked in. On top of that, the food was plentiful & incredible! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared perfectly. You can really tell they care about both their customers and the quality of their food. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great service and delicious meals! Oh and it was only $12 bucks! EricaK

Takeout Treasure: Your New Go To on This Side of Town
There aren’t many Chinese restaurants on this side of town, but don’t let that be the only reason to give this place a shot, there’s real heart (and flavor) here. While many online reviews seem outdated, my experience was excellent from the start. The woman at the front, while reserved, was incredibly kind once we started talking. She’s been running the place for 27 years, and it shows.
The interior? It’s seen its post-COVID shift. The old buffet line is now closed off, and the dining room was empty, likely because most of their business is takeout these days. The only real downside was a smoke smell, not overpowering, but definitely noticeable. Not enough where someone was actively smoking, but still possible. Still, with an “A” health rating proudly displayed, I wasn’t too concerned.
Now for the food, which is where this place really shines. It’s been a long time since I’ve found Chinese food that reminds me of my hometown spot, but this hit the mark. The menu, portion sizes, prices, and flavors were exactly what I was hoping for. We ordered combo plates of General Tso’s and Sesame Chicken, both with fried rice. She even swapped pork fried rice for chicken fried rice at no extra charge. That little detail alone was comforting, I usually get a lot of push back when substituting anything.
The egg roll could have been crisper, but it was on the thicker side vs the thin crunch you get at some places. Seems like a style choice so I loved every bite but my wife wasn’t the biggest fan.
I’ll be calling in my next order soon, and if you’re craving classic, comforting Chinese takeout, you should too.

everyone was super sweet and super nice The lady took my order very understanding but I forgot a couple of my meals. I ordered Fried shrimp with rice, but she gave me shrimp fried rice and she told me everything was in the bag and my receipt even said fraud shrimp with rice, but I got home. It was only shrimp fried rice and it happened to me before I didn’t speak out on it, but I feel like the fifth time of this happening to me. It really gets a point. and obviously this is just my opinion me and my family‘s opinion, but we will not be eating at number one anymore

Yummy food, I got shrimp lo mein with egg drop soup. Be sure to specify if you want the quart or pint size cause they’ll give you the biggest one available (still for a good price though). They also have Spanish translations available (Ellos tradujeron el menú en español, bueno 🙂 The buffet is still closed due to coronavirus.
