NMR Restaurant is as authentic Creole as they come and they even cater to the comfort food crowd as well. I happened to choose the simply delicious shrimp stew with rice and bean sauce, cabbage and fried plantains. The Staff is uber courteous and delivery or takeout is immensely popular or if a sit-down experience is preferred, they’ve got you covered with conventional white tablecloths and place settings as well. The food was so delicious! I like whatever they marinated the pork for the griot in you can taste it and it’s not your average epis. The chicken could’ve been a little less crunchy but the sauce was really tasty along with it! I’m Haitian but not a local so it was great to find an authentic spot during my visit to Ft. Myers. I highly recommend! The price was good too! The service was excellent to me personally.

I’m always on the hunt for great international food, and NMR Restaurant did not disappoint! I was craving Caribbean and decided to give them a try – wow! One of the best spots in Lee County. I had the Goat Kreyol with rice and cabbage – absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

I was referred to that restaurant by a friend while I was visiting Fort Myers and let me tell you the service was impeccable. Very clean restaurant. The portion is huge, price is very reasonable. The food was amazing. It was not spicy, and very well seasoned. My overall experience was great. I ate good. The pikliz was spicy just as it should.
