I arrived just before noon and was seated quickly, with the waitress greeting me and taking my drink order. Chips and salsa arrived shortly afterwards, one spicy salsa and one not, chips weren’t bad but didn’t have much flavor. I ordered the ACP which arrived within a normal time. Plenty of food, you won’t go hungry. The ACP was good no complaints. Just a tad bit higher than I’m used to paying but it was reasonable.

Nixtamal Mexican Kitchen in Boiling Springs is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and quick service. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We tried both the tacos and the burrito, and each bite was packed with authentic Mexican taste that kept us wanting more. The presentation was beautiful, and everything came out hot and perfectly seasoned. The restaurant itself has a great vibe—colorful, lively, and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for either a casual lunch or a fun dinner out. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we truly felt well taken care of. The only two minor things to note: the music was a little on the loud side, and the men’s bathroom could have used a quick clean. Neither took away from the overall experience, and we will definitely be back soon!

I like this place I usually do take out and wanted to try the bar. The Nixta Guac was made on the spot with chicharon which was nice. The El Rey burrito is the best with that nice sauce. The drinks are nice. Nice place and good service.

The food here is always so delicious and fresh with extra large portions. We were really impressed with how quickly everything arrived at the table! Shout out to our sweet server Lucy. She was so attentive, kind and friendly as could be. We had dinner on the outdoor patio because we had our pup with us. All of the employees that came by the table were smiling and so nice. I will mention that the patio has super sturdy wood booth tables, just like the ones you find inside the restaurant. I have never seen that before for patio seating and it made the experience even more enjoyable and authentic. Excellent menu with a ton of really great choices for whatever Mexican dishes you may be in the mood for. Lots of platters and mix and match individual items. Great little spot!

The food is really good and I love that they are decorated for Halloween. Lucy was a great waitress and made sure we were taken care of! I would definitely ask for the corn dip it is not on the menu!

This is the third location we have tried and our least favorite. From the lack of service down to the worm looking thing in my food that they tried to say had to have landed in my dish (we ate outside). They took it back too quick I couldn’t get a picture, really wish I had it was so gross. Only refilled our drinks once and I had to go inside and ask for those. Will not return to this location. It does seem to be one of their larger locations and is super cute inside just maybe need to work some bugs out as I think its a lil newer.
