Visiting the area for 3 weeks and just a short walk we stumbled on a gem of a restaurant. Great atmosphere, the best ever OLD Shell Club, and the New Yorker.

Elizabeth is great.. the club sandwich was very good.. the meatball sandwich was good.. the Mac n cheese is boxed.. the potato salad is different, but good.. we had the spinach dip also.. its hot and cheesy..

It is the first time, and it won’t be our last. My wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere here. From the old-world decor filled with history from the past, the pharmacy was really cool. The bartender, waitress, server, buster, host Elizabeth, were terrific! She handles all the interior floor jobs with an infectious smile. The Long Island with the splash of cola on the side was excellent! Because they don’t serve tea. The bar drinks are worth every penny. My cheese steak sandwich wasn’t what I expected. My wife’s sandwich was delicious.

Our entire experience was spot on from start to finish. The waitress/bartender was genuinely pleasant. She went over and beyond to find me some keto options to drink. I ordered the club/no bread and green beans as my side. My husband got the New Yorker with potato salad as his side. Everything was delicious!! The greens were a meal in itself. There was smoked meat throughout and seasoned perfectly. My club was also exceptional. The honey mustard made it even more tasty. They aren’t afraid of piling the meat on, so bring your appetite. We will definitely be back soon!

Decent little spot with a good ambiance. Could do with a menu that suits dinner a little more but what they did was really good. Had a grown up grilled cheese which was really good. I also had a decent IPA and then a very poor beer which sadly I can’t remember the name of but if I’m the area it’s a good spot to have an evening at.

The food is amazing!!! The special was the best meal I’ve eaten in at least a year. This place has the best vibe, the best bartenders and the best food. The draft selection is kinda awesome too!! You will not regret coming here.

The staff here were great! It was extremely busy/hectic when we went, but maybe we caught the Sunday lunch rush? My daughters loved both the quesadilla & adult grilled cheese. My seared tuna was cooked perfect, but had a bit of a metallic taste for some reason. I’ll probably go with a wrap next time around.

I absolutely love this place! This little hidden gem is on Old Shell Rd., adjacent from Dew Deop Inn, and let me tell you, this place is amazinggggg!!!! The food is amazing, especially the spinach dip. The spinach dip was the best spinach dip I’ve ever had. And the bread they have to go with it is sooooo gooooddddddd. The Mid Town Dip is soooo gooodddd as well. The roast beef and the dipping sauce are just perfect!!! The green beans are to die for!!! They are too good. They used to have collard greens that were to die for, but no, the green beans are just too good and perfect!!!! This place is just a vibe. It used to be a pharmacy, but it has that kind of an old timey feel to it with a modern twist. And Elizabeth was freaking amazing. She was so sweet, kind, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. She was so friendly and personable. She talked to us, gave us some amazing suggestions, and she was just so nice. She is honestly one of the best bartenders we’ve ever had/encountered. She’s just one of those people that you would love to be friends with, you know? Nixon’s also has a lot of good beers on tap, too. The Blue Steel beer was phenomenal and a great suggestion from Elizabeth!!! 10/10 definitely recommend this place!!
