Not a fan, very disappointed to drive 45 minutes to get there and I was expecting much better. The food and drinks just average and prices are high. Specially my cocktail was bad, limoncello martini. Very artificial and tastes like Jarritos soda drink. The salad was just like the ones you can get at Olive Garden. Nothing special so was the pizza.
The server was very nice young lady and very attentive ( none of this was her fault) Atmosphere was boring, no music. They definitely need to improve.

Made reservations for 8pm. Was seated at that time. Server was pleasant but busy and our water glass sat empty for a while. We had outside seating. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable. This was not expected. Food was as I expected. I would definitely return.

Great Food, but Service Needs Improvement

We dined at Nittolo’s Seafood & Pizza, and the food was excellent! I had the Lobster Fettuccine Alfredo, which was fantastic and packed with seafood. My husband had the Smoked Brisket BBQ pizza, which was also very good. However, the service could use some improvement. Our waitress didn’t check on us until after our meal, and both my husband and I would have ordered another glass of wine if given the chance.

One thing the restaurant should consider is clearly advertising the 3% surcharge for using a credit card on the menu. Give customers the option to pay with cash to avoid that fee. Additionally, starting the tip options at 22% when paying the bill feels a bit pushy. A restaurant of this caliber should offer bread with butter or oil and vinegar at the table as well.

Despite these issues, I would still return for the food—just with cash in hand, and I’d let the server know I prefer a little more attention during my dining experience

Update for Santa brunch** Mostly good. Service was excellent although she completely forgot to enter my dish. An apology was made but it arrived way after everyone else and she acknowledged her mistake. All good, but a gesture of at least a comped coffee would have gone a long way. ***Don’t order the filet on the brunch menu. It was the worst piece of meat I’ve ever had and can’t be considered a filet. So much gristle. Everyone else’s food was fantastic though.

Fantastic mother’s day brunch. Service was great and friendly. Brunch menu was amazing. Oysters were perfect. Mimosa was fresh squeezed and wonderful.

…while not a fan of being an outlier, also not a fan of being a liAr…

My first experience with Nittolo’s (to-go) was decent. Several people had chatted up how good (and large) the Caesar salad, so I gave it a go. It was good. (Wish I could say the same for the uptight patrons waiting for their tables who didn’t seem to recall the phrase “excuse me” when moving about in a fairly full, small area…) I digress…

Second experience was pizza (also to-go), and also an outcome of a couple of people talking about how good their pizzas when they first opened. I wish my pizza would have fallen into that “good when they first opened” category. It did not. It was disappointing. And greasy. Really, really greasy. As in, the greasiest pizza I can recall having – ever? For a long time?… The pepperoni had good flavor; the cheese and crust – meh. Can’t recall noting the sauce…

The excuse I’ve created for myself is they’re running a $9.99 pepperoni pizza special, presumably to drive business. They just have to have used sub-par ingredients. It’s all I got. It did not get that gross in the under 7-10 minutes it took me to drive home and dive in. Also, it didn’t drive this business as I likely won’t try their pizza again; no reason. There are entirely too many “for sure” options available.

Went during Traverse City restaurant week. I was quite impressed. I knew they had good pizza in the other side of the building, but this dinner was excellent quality. Only fault was some risotto that was so sticky and stiff I left it on the plate. Appetizer was wonderful. The salmon had a perfect sear on it, and a dessert of their famous cannoli, delicious.

Birthday dinner. Went early at 4:30 reservation. Dinner in the courtyard was very comfortable and private. Veal parmasean was tender and delicious. Peperoni pizza was nothing out of ordinary for pizza. The Ceasars salad was very fresh with frsh shaved parmesean and large. The cannolies were spot on delicious. Drinks were very good as well.

The food and ambience were great! My husband and I sat outside and loved every bit of our meals. We started with the meatballs and ceasar salad, both were very tasty. The chicken picatta and seafood pasta were absolutely delicious as our main courses as well. If we lived closer, we would visit this place often!

Had an incredible experience at Nittolo’s! I ordered the Margherita pizza and it was simply amazing—the flavors were perfectly balanced, fresh, and full of depth. Easily one of the best I’ve had.

We started with the fried calamari and mussels for appetizers, and both were on point. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right—definitely hit the spot.

What really made the night stand out was our waiter. Not only was he attentive and professional, but he also had a great sense of humor and rolled with our table’s jokes like a champ. That energy made the entire experience even better.

Highly recommend Nittolo’s for anyone looking for great food and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
