Customer service is insanely horrible, I asked for one drink and handed them a $50 bill and the bartender handed me back $40 without a receipt, I asked for a receipt and he handed me a receipt with a charge of a drink that I didn’t ask for, given…it was only charged for $4.50…I asked him where the rest of my change was and he opened up his box and handed me back $5. I’m convinced he didn’t charge the drink he served me and pocketed the money for the drink he gave me. PLEASE ASK FOR YOUR RECIPT, The same thing happened to my friend, she asked for a house tequila and handed them a $50 and only got $10 back without a receipt as well. The had the audacity to ID at the bar even after she showed her ID at the door. All in all this place is very unprofessional,

Careful going here. The establishment isn’t terrible and the bar staff are very friendly however, the security guard is very unprofessional. His behaviors create conflict.
As a security guard his responsibility is to prevent (when possible) or stop disruptive dangerous behavior. Maintain peace.
However, he has no legal authority to physically touch any patron if unprovoked. Specifically, shoving women without a reason other than to assert his authority. It is very clear this security guard maintains his position, unbeknownst to the owners, by creating friction himself. There are good and bad people with poor judgment in every line of work. The security guard working the night on August 10th, 2024 should reevaluate his career path, as he lacks the emotional intelligence to foster a safe environment. And he should familiarize himself with the law and understand his limitations. His lack of knowledge is both a direct and vicarious liability to any establishment he represents. He is not a police officer and physically shoving any person without grounds, is assault by contact.

I went to see my first ever drag show. The performers were amazing, definitely not what I was expecting (RuPaul’s Drag Race’s fault for my expectations). I understand it’s the ‘Club Scene’. The ONLY music I could understand (the words) was during the Show (lasted 35 minutes). I’m new to this area (moved here 3 months ago from Indiana) & I’m part of Generation X. A little suggestion on something to try down here that happens up North, Designated Drivers drink (soda/juice/ANYTHING with NO alcohol in it) for FREE. I think $3 for 8oz of fountain coke or a cup of juice is quite pricey (especially when you can get 64 oz of juice for less than what you charge (yes it’s a 12 oz cup, but after filling the cup with ice ,the customer gets 6-7 oz of juice)). I worked in the ‘food industry’ for 30+ years. I KNOW what supplies actually cost. You are making 100%+ profit on your Designated Drivers drinks. Not a place I see myself returning to unless there is an event that interests me. Sorry. Just stating it the way I see it.

The drag show was something new for me. The performers were AWESOME!
Had an awesome time. Drinks were not expensive. They were at a decent price. The staff was friendly. The DJ played great music reminded me of when I go to 17th Street in Mcallen. Great music selection would definitely be back again!

The music is always good and the drinks are priced well. If you’re there for a good time and keep to your group, you’ll have a great time. I’ve been going for years and I’ve never had any issues.

This place is a hidden gem! Our GPS was taking us to the wrong location with this bar’s address (despite the address being correct), so if you have any trouble, just find Whattaburger and it’s right next door. It’s definitely worth it! The drinks are SUPER inexpensive, the music was fantastic, and they have their own food truck! This is a family owned and operated business, and the service you get is impeccable. I’d definitely recommend!

You guys should do a weekly or monthly twerk contest. Something to break up the shy little groups around the floor and get people mixing it up. Also, I was followed to my car and a guy forced his mouth on mine. It would be cool if your door guys watched for girls going to their cars. Otherwise cool place to dance.

Place does get a little packed and service can be slow but they try hard and the drinks are solid. Better prices than most bars around here. Chill spot to get the night started or finished. They got pool tables too.

Great music, friendly bartenders and affordable drinks for when your on a budget, only reason I am giving it two stars is because of the bouncers. Which on several occasions I saw drinking and doing illegal substances. Come on guys keep it classy.

We were not allowed to play on one of the pool tables even though it was not in use, not because it was out of order But only because an individual named “PAUL” who owns the table as his own private property was allowed by the managment to place it in a public place where people go to play pool…… From a business standpoint this makes no sence to me. Theyd rather loose on several satisfied customers just to appeal to one individual. Which is a real shame because ive always enjoyed going to night shift, but after that experiance with what the bartender told us we felt that our business would be more appreciated else where. I hope the best for night shift, but things like this make a person feel uncomfortable in a place where you should feel the opposite
