Great food, great service. Very friendly and welcoming. It’s true that the cook might be the only person on duty and taking a break – It’s not IHOP. It’s old school and relaxed. I think we all agree that good food and kind people make a great community.

This little old fashioned diner has it going on! The owner and family are out and about being really friendly and pitching in on everything. The milkshakes are made by hand and the person making ours was one of the children of the owner. Seeing the children helping out and learning the family business made me proud, that is how it should be and that is also what we are losing so fast these days.
The milkshake and burger were really tasty. The only two things that I would change:
A little more seasoning on the patty, it was nice and thick with good beef flavor but some season salt would have kicked it higher. Also, the fries made it to us without salt and by the time I salted them it wouldn’t stick anymore.

Great, little diner. Excellent service, good food. Loved the family atmosphere, Mr. Blush has his kids helping and serving customers. I enjoyed the local talk and seeing Mr. Blush sitting outside on the sidewalk talking to locals when it slowed down inside.

How this place has such i high rating I dont know. Walked in. No one was there to serve us. A customer went out and told the cook that was smoking out front we were in there. He came in, took our order, and made our food without washing his hands.
Biscuits and gravy 1.5
Pancakes tasted of Pam.
No thank you

One of the more amazing small town diners I’ve been too. Nice to walk into a place and feel just as welcomed as the others that come in that the owner knows by name. Loved getting to hear the small town gossip while enjoying an affordable meal. Bacon cheese burger meal for less then the price of McDonald’s while being worlds better. Hard to beat. Highly recommend.

Ok lets get real guys and gals, this is a small town, quaint, locals style restaurant serving lunch and breakfast with soooooooooooo much more. The new owners are awesome and one of the partners, George and his wife have an amazing way of ALWAYS making you feel comfortable, welcome and part of their family. He’s not from around these parts so you might be greated with an honoring “hey big guy” if your 5 years old or 65 years old skinny or husky (like me) and you know you’ve walked into the right place.
The next awesome thing is the food!!! Is it 5 star restaurant food ? Hell no and I say that with a huge heart because its real food, its made with that old school heart for the creation of a mouth watering meal. I can’t tell you enough about their breakfast burritos, the chicken sandwhiches and their biscuits and gravy to go !!! You taste the effort put into their foods, you taste the commitment to provide you that home style cooked meal that is exactly what this town needed.
Finally the 5XL add-on ? Whats this ? Well George started a program that was his dream, to feed hungry animals through a donation program and provide food for pets that their owners are struggling with right now. This man works ungodly hours, then turns around and gives what time and money he has to helping those less fortunate. That is why when you order food at Nitas you are also helping others in need. These people are simple the nicest, most kindest, most caring people I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
So the next time you need a quick, amazing breakfast or lunch and are needing to chat with someone or you just want to feel a part of your community , go buy a meal at Nita’s of Shelton WA and see your money going back into the spirit of Mason County WA and feeling your hungry fulfilled….

Walked in and immediately walked out. Has a pile of old cat litter and litter boxes stacked in the front window for some reason, and a sign celebrating “national Trump day”. Should be reported for health codes.

Stopped here on our way out of town and probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a small town restaurant. The owners or employees were so nice and packed it up for us to take to go. Food was delicious you could tell it was all cooked fresh

we showed up, walked in, saw everything was run down… blue lives flag, replacing Cs with Ks (when you get there, it’s actually called Nita’s Koffee), Trump Day flag, you get the idea. place was run down and smelled real weird. we left instead of eating.
