First visit to Niskers, and I can guarantee that I will return. I enjoyed one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and my dining companions felt the same. The quality of the food here is incredible and priced at a point that a normal person can afford. Service was outstanding and attentive without being intrusive. The entire place is spotless, and there’s plenty of screens to satisfy and sports fan. Noise level was amazingly good. We were able to hold normal conversations during our meal. There is an incredible selection of options available for burger preparation. No matter what you like, you’re probably going to find it here. Come as you are, settle into a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, and enjoy one of the best meals you’ve had in a while!

Best hamburgers & curly fries in Kalamazoo. Meat is never frozen with a tasty char-grill that makes them delicious. I’ve been going to Nickers for 30 years they never disappoint. My go to burger is a medium rare Big Hoss Hawaiian style! Not many places allow a cooked to order burger but you can here.

The food was delicious, ended up getting the beefalo burger done up with cheese head toppings, double burger with gravy, bacon, and cheese curds, and the sunny poutine. With the whipped cream white Russian that was stronger than expected, we loved it. Will happily come back. Chill atmosphere, lots of regulars.

I didn’t necessarily expect to find an artisan burger in a hockey bar, but everything about these are special. The meat is locally sourced black Angus that is hand formed and seasoned. I’m not sure exactly what they put in the beef, but I taste garlic and perhaps worcestershire. It’s delicious whatever it is. It is then charred on hot lava rocks. The result is a burger with a perfect char on the outside while still being cooked-to-order in the center. From there they give you a huge array of sauces, condiments, toppings, and buns/wraps. This is the best burger place in Kalamazoo!

I first stepped into Niskers 2 years ago when I first moved to Michigan from out of state. The owner was nice enough to introduce himself and made me feel very welcome at the time. Just left there after having another amaizing meal. I’d highly recommend a beefalo burger but any of their burgers will do. Overall this place is a gem from the hockey decor to the food, it’s one of the best around Michigan.
