I am always amazed by the ratings in some restaurants, based on what are you doing this rates? I have ordered tonight some tuna sushi and chicken teriyaki to start with and some solmon donburi with rice as a main course. Despite the fact that everything came 5 min later all together ,the food was microwaved felt and very dry,
I must say that they did not charge me for the chicken and solmon but this is not the issue , I would rather pay and see them cook the proper way. It takes max ten min to cook chicken in the oven and glaze nicely. It takes roughly the same for the solmon ,
Is such a good and nice area in Mumbles that you shouldn’t make this kind of errors. Good quality red wine, nice ice cream, very good service
Keep it fresh and people will appreciate your effort, better say is finished then serve it. Take responsibility for the food you cook specifically for the head chef.
For the manager lady or owner, let the chefs do their job I am sure they are great professionals. Don’t go in the kitchen and do their job it looks quite ridiculous.The lady manager seems to be a very nice lady and I hope she will understand that everyone has a role in building the best team .
I give two star tonight only because I end up eating something.

A fabulous restaurant, with great atmosphere and amazing, helpful staff. My boyfriend and I came here tonight for our 1 year as we came here for our first Valentine’s Day last year. Constantly talking about this place to people, always highly recommend. Food is superb!! Can’t wait to come back!! I honestly love it here, I’ve been twice. They have an all you can eat option with most of their menu available. The staff are so friendly and the food comes fast. I love their prawn skewers and their noodles the best. They have good portion sizes and Honestly it’s an all round lovely place. Only reason for 4 stars on the food is I’ve had friends who had something they didn’t like.

Disappointing and unacceptable. I planned to take my girlfriend to this restaurant for Valentine’s day. I booked in advance, as this place had some great reviews, and the food looked great. Upon arriving, I was told that it didn’t matter if you booked, and they were seating anyone. At this point, the restaurant is fairly quiet, and there are plenty of seats available. After arriving at the table, people started arriving and the place was filling up fast. Many waitresses walked around us, serving those who had arrived after us, and eventually, after 30 minutes, the waitress who sat us earlier arrives at our table to take our order. We said we wanted the buffet, however she informed us that the buffet is not available today, despite the fact it was a Saturday, a day the buffet was supposed to be on. The restaurant was busy, so I did understand this. The waitress says she will be back in 5 minutes to take our food order as we needed some time to pick other options. Well, 35 minutes after that, no one comes back to the table, and those who had arrived after us had eaten and left. Feeling disappointed and very hungry at this point, we pay for the drinks and leave. No apology was given by the staff for their extremely poor and negligent service. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth about this restaurant, which is a shame considering the decor and food both looked amazing(not that I’d know what it tasted like). The management of floor staff needs to improve massively, as they are letting down the kitchen, who seem to be producing quality products.

Used to come here all the time so I’m really gutted to make this review, this has just been our recent experience and its still worth trying yourself. We used to come here all the time until multiple occasions where we were basically ignored by the staff, on one occassion it took 40 minutes to order just drinks and this was only after we went up to the bar to ask for service. Multiple tables around us were in the same situation unfortunately and we had booked. As such we didn’t get any food for 1hr 30 after arriving. Multiple times after booking (both online and in person) there wasn’t a table available for us either. The prices have also shot up massively, £4 for a large glass of flat lemonade poured from a 2L bottle of Sprite which costs less to buy a whole bottle in the shop.. The food used to be excellent quality and understandable price but after so many occasions of disappointing service, drinks, and food, we’ve had to stop coming. Takeaway is similar, despite living in Mumbles it took 2 hours for our delivery to come and only after we called to check up.. This was when the delivery service first started and we haven’t ordered since, so understand things may have changed.

The food and service here is always exceptional. My partner and I are regulars and we usually go for the all you can eat. We are very disappointed to learn the all you can eat has changed to a limited menu! After talking to some of the staff, we understand why this is however a few shouldn’t ruin it for the rest! Please please please bring back the original all you can eat menu to its full glory.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I did not expect the INCREDIBLE sushi I ate tonight. My partner told me it was good but even he was blown away as he usually opts for home delivery. We had all you can eat for £36.99 each and trialled so many dishes, all of them amazing. We are huge sushi lovers, eating sushi a few times a week, and it’s rare for us to be moved to review a restaurant but the quality and substance of the food served here needs to be applauded. They cleverly total what you would have paid had you eaten outside of the all-you-can-eat offer and we saved a whopping £160! The service was great, food came out super quickly. I marked them down marginally for ambiance but I put that down to it being a Tuesday evening when the restaurant was empty, otherwise I would expect it to be a vibe. The offer of £36.99 is all day Monday to Thursday and increases to £39.99 Friday to Sunday (I believe that’s correct at the time of this review). Excellent value for money. Wish I had taken some photos but left my phone at home and was rather busy stuffing my face! If you’re in Mumbles and love sushi, this is THE place.
