Tried Ni’s Asian Bistro today for lunch. Great friendly customer service. Everyone worked as a team to sit and serve you. We got 3 sushi rolls to share: the Ni’s Bistro Roll, the Honey Bee and the Phoenix Roll. The Ni’s Bistro roll is made with soybean paper. It was my first time trying it, tasty but I do prefer the seaweed more. The Honeybee was my favorite with a hint of jalapeño spice. The rolls were served on a platter with a smoking pot as a cool effect! The atmosphere was lovely and everything you’d expect in an Asian bistro, I plan to take my friends for dinner soon! Looking forward to the many options they have on their menu!

Mom and pop feel with the taste of experience. The staff is welcoming and friendly as if they were waiting just for you to come in. The food is excellent. Fresh, very flavorful, and great portion sizes. The best part, it’s consistency. 3rd time in with 5 or more at the table and we have never had a bad flavor or anything taste any different from the repeat orders.

Update: We ate here a 3rd time now and the waitress, Treesa, was amazing. Our sushi was delicious…the edamame was spicy and ever so tasty. We discussed our gluten-free preference with Treesa and she took care of us by modifying some sushi rolls and bringing out gluten-free soy sauce. We truly appreciate that! For anyone who has a gluten free preference they do have gluten free meals listed on the menu.

We decided to try this place instead of our usual go to sushi place because of the reviews. We will definitely be back. My first impression was wow! They did fantastic job changing this from an old pizza hut to a modern asian/sushi restaurant. The blue granite behind the bar is gorgeous and the booths are comfortable and private. I don’t like sitting completely exposed in the middle of a restaurant when I’m pigging out on sushi. So the high backed booths and dim lights are a bonus. Downside is that it was a bit difficult to read the menus with aging eyes. The waitress had a personality that was difficult to read at first. She was the only one working the floor, probably tired, yet knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended the spicy edamame… it was not spicy but it was delicious! The seasweed salad was tasty and refreshing as well. We ordered a lot of sushi for two people. (We have 5 gremlins at home who scavage our leftovers). We had 3 of their specialty rolls, plus nigiri, plus regular rolls and a hand roll. The specialty rolls all looked alike on first glance. They were all tasty. We have no complaints on the food. I appreciated the presentation on the boat. All fresh, yummy, and beautiful dining. I do want to mention the menu. Its the one thing which had me consider removing a star. This restaurant has only been open a few months. They have already changed their prices and they chose to use a white out pen and handwrite the new prices over it. It looks tacky. So any menu posted on Google may not be the current prices. This cost about the same as our other sushi places. Maybe slightly higher than sushi cortaro. However, the atmosphere, service, and food were great overall. We are happy to have another sushi place to enjoy.

Update: Its a first, and maybe its a timing thing but the sushi was not on point this go around. Waitress only checked on me when she noticed I was done and had a whole roll in front of me that ended up being sent back.

Nothing to complain about here. Great food, great service, and beautiful presentation. Thank you for making my little brothers birthday dinner one for the books! You ought to check em out!

I’ve been coming here since March on this year and when I say this place NEVER disappoints! The quality of food is definitely different! I don’t think I’ve ever gotten anything I didn’t like! And the wait staff is just as great! Wanwan is for sure my FAVE!!!

We love Sushi and have experienced some of the best throughout our travels. Tonight was only night 5 since their grand opening and oh my, we both said the Sushi and Presentation was as good as the very best we have had anywhere! Tucson Foodies, support this new restaurant and help them be successful! We will definitely be back. After dining here for Sushi it will be hard to top this anywhere in town and we are pretty critical of restaurants. We were impressed and we think you will be too!

Edit; As of August 6th, we have now been to Ni’s 3 times. Originally for dinner which was my initial review, then lunch and then this edit for dinner again. Our Sushi this time was just as incredibly good as the 1st time. Presentation and quality was once again Outstanding! (New pic added) Ni’s, Keep up the great dining experience and quality, as in our opinion You are the Best Sushi in town!

Wow!! Ok, the food and service was next level. But I’m gonna start off with Wanwan, cuz she was probably the best server we’ve ever had. She was so sweet, hilarious, happy, and genuinely the best! She made our experience even that much sweeter! We got 6 different rolls, but the favorite rolls for all 4 of us that went was the Mountain Roll and the Mango Shrimp Roll. SO DELICIOUS!!! The presentation was amazing, service was impeccable, and food was great. Highly recommend!

Great sushi, very nice flavor. The rolls can be a little small for the price, but have nice presentation.

Uzumaki roll – 6/5! – Haven’t had a roll like that before with the cucumber wrap. Really nice, excellent flavor and texture. Very fresh. Definitely would get again. No soy sauce needed.

Honey Bee roll – 4/5 – Good solid roll, a little expensive for the portion size, but it had nice flavor and didn’t need any other seasonings/toppings/soy sauce.

Wok Basil Beef – 5/5 – Good portion size for the beef/veg, wish there was a little more fried rice. Everything tasted freshly made. Not a heavy or overly sweet sauce, it was just light, savory and tasty. A slight spicyness permeated the food, would get again.

Second time here. Tempura was cooked well, although the batter was a little dense for my tastes, however, I was still very pleased with the results. The sushi tasted fresh, and the sweet shrimp (my fav) was properly presented alongside the heads, which were deep fried to perfection. My server was prompt, friendly, and readily available for additional ordering. I can’t wait to try some of their other non-sushi offerings during my next visit. A welcome addition to the area, I’d highly recommend.
