Founder Santosh, a passionate foodie born in South India, later moved onto Vancouver BC with his parents. Grew up in diversified community & with tremendous exposure to Indian food in WestCoast. He & his good friend has curated a menu that showcases both traditional favorites and innovative fusion dishes. The food were great. I had salmon and my husband had goat. Both dishes are with large portion. We requested to be seated out door and called ahead. By the time we got there a very nice table was already set up for us. Even we were seated outside the waitress checked a few times to see if we need anything They also has a call button for us to call them if we need anything. Food are very tasty as well. I give them 5 for all because they met all my expectations for eating in a restaurant.

Visited Nirvana Indian & Nepali Cuisine in Kingston on November 2, 2025, around 5:30 PM, and had a truly wonderful experience! Our server was very kind, polite, and attentive, which made the evening even better.
The restaurant is in a perfect location, beautifully designed, clean, and welcoming. The atmosphere feels warm and relaxing, ideal for a cozy dinner with family or friends.
We ordered the Goat Rogan Josh, Shahi Paneer, Assorted Naan (with onion naan instead of Kashmiri), Raita, and a refreshing Virgin Mojito. Every single dish was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The naan was one of the best we’ve ever had soft, fresh, and full of authentic taste. The curries were rich and aromatic, and everything was served hot and beautifully presented.
The prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and the service was excellent from start to finish.
Highly recommend Nirvana Indian & Nepali Cuisine to anyone who enjoys flavorful Indian and Nepali food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The house chardonnay was excellent. The server was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the menu. Chicken tandoori kebab was EXCELLENT and naan was beautiful and fresh.

Delightful, ethnic food edition to Kingston. Each dish was unique and delicious. I was with someone who needed mild flavoring so it probably would have more Flavorful if We had ordered more than one star. Their garlic Nin was amazing! The KEER, a rice pudding was delicious to top off the meal.

It was there opening day and it was super busy. The staff was friendly and handled the crowd wonderfully. The food was exquisite. Beautiful balance with pops of unexpected flavors that danced across my tongue tonight left me feeling very satisfied. I highly recommend you go and try this place ASAP. Hands down the best Indian cuisine I’ve had to date.

Great atmosphere, extremely flavorful, delicious food. Staff obviously takes great pride in their food preparation and presentation which was very impressive. The way they set and displayed our food while serving was a presentation in itself. I ordered no rice because I have dietary restrictions. My tandoori chicken came with rice on my plate. I know they would have fixed it, had I asked. But my husband and I were both tired from a long day, so I didn’t bother. Pic was taken after I slid some of my rice onto my husband’s plate. My plate really was gorgeous.

This was my first time having Indian food and it was great all the way around. The server was very friendly and patient. He asked a few qualifying questions then suggested a handful of items he thought I would enjoy. He also explained several other things in the menu and how to read them. I took his recommendation and tried the Tika Masala, it was fantastic. Also, I am gluten free and was surprised to see so many things I could eat!! I will absolutely be back and will try other dishes that he suggested.

On a whim, we hopped on the ferry, wandered around town (yes, step-counting was involved ), and went hunting for dinner. So glad we landed here! Ira greeted us with the warmest smile. We ordered the Nirvana house special, the Palak, and Ira suggested we try the Kashmiri naan. Great call!

My husband and I had a great experience at Nirvana on our date night! We had the Nirvana House Curry and Tandoori chicken along with some naan bread, nirvana salad, and Kathmandu chicken Momo for appys! Definitely recommend for a lovely leisurely dinner!
