Wonderful local establishment with the most flavorful and consistent curries. Absolutely love the gobi Manchurian. They ask your spice preference on a scale 1-7 which is fab! And mango lassi is delightful. They also have great vegetarian options !! The shredded paneer might be a new favorite.

The chicken masala was very flavorful, with excellent spices that really stood out. The biryani was also delicious and well-prepared. On top of that, the service was friendly and attentive, making the whole meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Nirvana Indian Bistro in Lafayette Hill is one of those places that quietly ends up becoming a favorite after just one visit. The food feels fresh, flavorful, and made with care. I started off with the onion bhajias – perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, with just the right kick when paired with their tangy chutneys. For mains, the biryani was a standout. The rice was fragrant, the spices layered beautifully, and the portions were generous enough to share (though I didn’t want to).
Their bread selection deserves its own shoutout too – the garlic naan came out warm and slightly buttery, while the onion kulcha had that perfect savory bite. Everything complemented the curries so well that we ended up ordering extra bread just to scoop up every last bit of sauce. The service was friendly and the vibe inside was relaxed, making it a great dinner spot for families or small groups. Highly recommend visiting!

The food was good but I had a bad experience here a bit ago. Our waitress, a shorter very thin woman with dark hair, brought out our food then went back to the kitchen. Just after she disappears we can hear her loudly mocking us saying “oh my gooooddd it looks sooooo good” repeating it over and over again in our accident. The restaurant was empty except for us, the kitchen is just behind us, and she is doing this very loudly…not very bright. The food was good but I will not be coming back here because of how rude this was.

Not only is this one of the best Indian places around, but they also respect their customers.
Most places that have very spicy foods are hesitant to make a really spicy dish for a white guy named “Dave”. Yet when I ordered last night and asked them for “melt my face off” spicy, they delivered so hard I turned into a watch from a Salvador Dali painting.
I also loved their message to me that said “good luck” on the lid of my delicious spicy food.
Furthermore, their Gobi manchurian is so good that it makes people who say they don’t like Indian food realize that they actually love Indian food.
Fantastic place… Highly recommended!
