Come here for some good eats, beautiful atmosphere, and spectacular service. The service is amazing; attentive, kind, informative, and fast. The menu offers a wide variety of options. For our first time here, my partner and I shared the appetizer sampler. It was YUMMY, especially when dipped in sauce. The vegetable samosas are my favorite. For my dinner, I had spicy lamb vindaloo. The lamb was cooked PERFECTLY! The ingredients were so fresh. It felt like a good home cooked meal. It was a good amount of food, I got mine boxed up to finish tomorrow. Rip a piece of the garlic naan, pick up some rice, and then grab your lamb vindaloo. >>> A Masterpiece! Our server was so informed of the menu and the food, we enjoyed conversation with him. The place was CLEAN! Spotless! Everyone was polite and warm. Will definitely return. If you have not yet, come and try ASAP!

Went for lunch on a busy Mother’s Day, we were a party of 8 people. It was packed, but we were seated about 10 minutes after; extra seating was added to accommodate us. Roy explained and helped us pick the best items from the Menu. Delicious North Indian food, Rose drink & Mango lassi must try, excellent selection of wine. Many vegetarian options to choose from- Paneer Tikka and Mixed Sizzler our fav. Chicken tikka masala, Goat curry, and Biryani tasted 5-star!
My Mom and Nona loved it!

We recently visited the newly opened Nirvana and were absolutely delighted with the experience. We had reserved the family lounge for our dinner, and it was perfect for a cozy, private meal with family.
Now, the food—simply outstanding! Every dish we ordered was packed with authentic flavors.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious Indian cuisine and a comfortable dining experience with family. We’ll definitely be returning soon!

My experience at Nirvana Restaurant was excellent. It offers some of the best Indian food in New York, particularly the mushroom bhaji and dal makhani.

The food here was absolutely packed with flavor. I ordered the lamb chops and the curry chicken, and both were incredible. The lamb chops were tender, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly, with spices that really stood out without being overwhelming. The curry chicken was rich, comforting, and full of deep, authentic flavor—I couldn’t stop eating it. You can tell a lot of care goes into the cooking here. If you love bold, flavorful Indian food, this place is definitely worth checking out.

The food is delicious! Huntington has needed an Indian place for so long now. Great vegetarian options and accommodating to vegans! Had a good experience when I went in person.

However, had difficulties with takeout. The order was missing an entree when I went to pick it up (I checked the bag before I left), waited for the entree to be made and was given back the bag stapled shut. When I arrived home, a new part of the order was missing. I assume they took it out when placing the forgotten order back in the bag. I called and they said they would have a driver deliver it. An hour later, nothing had arrived. We called back and were told “well it’s a busy Saturday night and the driver is too busy to deliver just one thing.” We were refunded. Was not pleased with how this was handled, but they just opened an hopefully this is just a part of growing pains.

Update: we did not receive the refund.

A brand new Indian restaurant in Huntington. We visited for the first time. I would say it was a pleasant experience. The host Rohit warmly greeted us and offered the 3 of us a booth. If you are a fan of Indian beer, definitely try ‘Flying Horse’, which is a large bottle and can serve 2 people in chilled mugs. For apps, we ordered Tandoori mixed grill and lamb chops. The chops were burnt a bit, and we recommend that they should be medium rare going forward. Actually, they offered to replace the dish. For entres, we ordered Chicken Tikka masala and goat curry with breads, Onion Kulcha, and garlic Nan. White rice comes for free. All in all, it was a good experience, and I strongly recommend Nirvana. Newsday also gave a good recommendation. Go ahead and give the place a go. (As an FYI, my reviews over years have > 350K views, and I am brutally honest!).

Expect an extremely long wait time for everything and I mean everything. Dirty utensils and plates, hair on our garlic naan.

Didn’t have a reservation, left my name and number for them to call me when table was available, table opened up in 20 mins and we came back.

Upon arrival we were greeted and seated. We however did not get a menu or water at all for 20-25 mins. Then another 15-20 mins pass by before waiter checks on us if we’re ready to order. We give them our order including 4 drinks. No drink or any updates for 20 mins and we had to ask not one but two staff for our drinks, 2 sodas & 2 mango lassi, shouldnt take 20-25 mins just to come out. So much ice in the mango lassi, seems ridiculous.

Check your utensils and plates because all our utensils and plates were dirty with stains. After telling staff who barely spoke English this, she apologizes takes our plates and my utensils and gives me a new one still wrapped in the cloth, I knew immediately it would be dirty too because she did not check them herself. I was disgusted walked up to the front told them the utensils were dirty even after the swap, and asked for the plastic utensils. I’ve never had to use plastic utensils when dining in but there’s a first for everything.

We kept asking for updates on our food, 45 minutes pass by still no food. The table behind us that got seated after us got their food before us. Even the appetizer, garlic naan didn’t even show up.

Because of staff not being fluent in English, our concerns got passed around like hot potato. It was pretty frustrating considering we did not expect the extremely long wait from what others were saying from their experiences. When we finally got our food after an hour + of waiting, they were missing our garlic naan. This garlic naan took an extra 15-20 mins to come out, and we had to ask twice about the status of the naan.

We started eating and one of us noticed that it had a piece of hair on it, we flagged it to the staff, she flagged it to our main server, and he came over apologized, took it back and said he’d replace it with a new one and will remove it off our bill.

After we finished eating, our naan replacement still wasn’t ready. They were quick to come over to take our plates though. The server came over and apologized for the hair in our naan and the slow service. I mentioned the dirty utensils and plates, and slow drinks is not an excuse though just because you just opened.

Overall, unsatisfied with the speed of service. The food was good but never that good for me to wait that long for. Way too much ice in my mango lassi. The server did give us a discount on the bill for our disappointing experience there. However this was our experience and my honest review. If things change the next time I go I will update this with a hopefully better rating, but it will definitely be a while before we decide to return.
