My Son and I love love love this place! For the first time tonight, we tried delivery I forgot how HUGE the potions are! And everything arrived exactly when they said and it was all steaming hot! Being a Westie, we don’t get out much to the east side so Nippon is a welcome relief to the usual fast food places. I have never had a wrong order and the folks are awesome that work there! Please visit and enjoy and help keep a small restaurant around!

My family and I really like how Nippon revamped itself. They made plenty of new upgrades with it’s decor and menu but they still have your old favorites. The food taste great and really like the mural on the wall (not pictured). I definitely recommend everyone to try it out.

The staff are very friendly and the manager is nice. They get to know their customers. The food is great but at times they can be crowded so service is slow. Great fried rice and chicken dishes. Sides are always done perfectly.

These crab rangoon literally melt in your mouth and the fried rice is phenomenal. I love the wall decor and the rustic/vintage vibe of the restaurant although it’s not very ordinary for this type of restaurant, it’s very eclectic. Bo helped me pick out exactly what I was looking for. Overall great experience!

We eat here about once a week. My son loves the Sirloin Pho and I love the spicy Thai basil fried rice. They are always friendly and make sure you are happy with your meal.

Nippon Grill is my new obsession. The Pho is delicious, but the Volcano rice is a twist that I’ve not seen duplicated anywhere else. The staff are super friendly and courteous. Even from the kitchen, everyone through the door gets a genuine smile and a happy greeting. As a local company they have Maverick and Eagle specials which make me smile while supporting our local schools.

I was not impressed the last time I ate carryout here. Chicken fried rice was very overpriced.
I will say don’t rely upon calling this business to place your order. Use their website or phone app to order, or simply show up in person. When I tried to call them while enroute to their store, I didn’t get an answer. So, I turned around. It was about 15 minutes before their closing time so I wanted to both call it in and be on my way in order to not keep them after hours. Needless to say, I just turned around and made the trip another day. That was disappointing.
The food is good. The Combo Fried Rice had a good amount of meat in it and came heaping over a large plate. The Crab Rangoons are really good here. The Egg Rolls are more like spring rolls, they were good and crispy but I was hoping for and expecting a thicker wrap.
Chicken Teriyaki with lo mein was good. Had good sized chunks of chicken in it.
There were 3 of us and it cost us about $40 to eat, but we ended up taking home enough food that we each had another meal out of it. So, price is right with the amount of food you get.
They do deliver but to only about a 3 mile radius. The service was good, nice, and friendly (after the initial not able to call an order in). Their reply was that the credit card machine sometimes takes over the phone line. I can see that, but people like me still want to call orders in from time to time.
The atmosphere is nice, dim lighting, and clean. I felt the drink and silverware area felt a bit cluttered but I felt it was clean. There were 3 tables that needed clean when we arrived but there were all cleaned within 10 minutes of us being there. We arrived late, one other couple in there when we arrived and another family came in after us and probably within 10 minutes of closing, they asked if it was too late to order and the staff (and owner) welcomed them in without any fuss or attitude. They all actually seemed delighted. That is how a business should work (just get the phone problem fixed).
We’ll be back as it was good Hibachi food. I will try some other dishes on my next trip.

Today I was served by the most beautiful woman I have ever laid my eyes on. Her customer service was amazing. I watched her serve others and she takes her job to heart. I see her doing her best to make sure everyone enjoys their Nippons experience…oh…and the food.

I give only 3 stars because of the decor. The food is fantastic, but your initial impression when you open the door ~makes you want to turn around and walk right back out. That’s what 2 different parties did in the short time I was there. Fresh paint, new chairs, updated decor with minimal cost would have a big impact. Heck, I’d do it!
