Went for the wing night! They have a breaded wing. They’re are good but not what I was expecting. Sauces are great. Only one flavor per wing order on wing nights. I also go a cheese steak it was pretty good. The peppers were very sweet, it had horseradish mayo on it but it was overpowers by the sweetness. I’ll definitely be trying the food here again! I wasn’t disappointed just not what I was expecting! The weekly specials they have look great!

Had dinner at the Nip tonight like we’ve done many times before. Always had a great meal until tonight. When Ray was there food was great, service was great. Tonight a couple of us got steaks, overcooked and cold. My fries were greasy and definitely leftovers. I ordered an appetizer that didn’t come till my meal came. Those that got fish had no tartar sauce until after they were done with their meal. I ordered a bake potato first but they were out. Morgan, new Manager, you need to do better than this. Table of 8 will not be returning any time soon.

The food here is AMAZING! The staff are very nice, the interior is gorgeous and charming, and (I’ll say it again) the food is delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing by for a great meal!

Good atmosphere. Very cozy. I suspect most food is a bit more expensive than need be. It is a tavern after all. Serving spirits is the main item. Although, $10 served me the pizza which I have attached. I mean, it was good pizza, but it barely filled the already small box.

The owner actually came by our table 2 times to ask how our food was. You don’t see that kind of service anymore. Highly recommended we will be back.

Traveled from Muncy to check this place out with friends. It was worth the drive. Everyone in our party had great reviews on their order of food. Club Sandwich, Tavern Burger, Fish and Chips were all fantastic.
Staff was fantastic. They stopped to check on us often. Even the owners stopped by.
It was loud and over bearing.
Friendly atmosphere. Children would be welcome.
Will go back for sure. Probably one of our best food outings for quite some time.

Skiing all day at the local ski resort and stopped in on the drive home. Has that old town tavern charm. Food was tasty and the bartender was friendly.

Food was excellent. I got the valley burger and my boyfriend got the prime rib. Everyone was extremely pleasant and tried to serve us as best as possible even with the bar being busy. (We ate in the bar area not dining).

Alright, so my friends and I enter this tavern. I’ve never been here before, and there’s no sign telling us to seat ourselves . Someone is at the bar, and they’re just staring at us along with all the guest and she’s not doing anything, so after a couple mins waiting we thought we should just sit down. Then she walks over and says the kitchen is closed. Overall the service wasent ok
