, thank you for your service! I am a senior receiving delivered meals, the pros are appreciate the service, the cons are the jerk chicken is always burnt , eating burnt food over a long period of time is no healthy & needs more jerk! One order is from may 23rd the other from june 2nd clean the grill, don’t burn the chicken , put more jerk in it! PS . I won’t show the really burnt side talk too the cook they know more cabbage please & thank you!

Was very excited to try the food got the pepper steak…it wasn’t white rice they served with it. It was Jasmin rice and they don’t let you know ahead of time. The steak tasted very sweet compared to a pepper taste and the steak was shredded….will not be going back

Nins catered our wedding and they did wonderfully. They were able to accommodate our vegetarian needs and drive out to the venue. There was plenty of food and every single guest loved it. The Jerk Chicken was amazing. So were the plantains and rice and peas. One of the best Jamaican restaurants I’ve ever been at and an excellent catering option.

I’ve ordered from this restaurant twice on Uber eats. My first order was a large oxtail, rice and peas, cabbage, plantain, mac & cheese, chicken foot soup, and festival. All of the sides were really good especially the soup but the oxtail gravy tasted weird… like it was made from some kind of canned or packaged gravy. I didn’t taste any allspice or clove or ginger either, it tasted more like southern smothered oxtails & I didn’t like that.

The second time I ordered the escovich snapper with white rice, cabbage, and the chicken foot soup again & everything *but* the snapper was good. It tasted old and overcooked, like it had been reheated too many times or left under the broiler for too long. I’m disappointed bc I don’t think the food/cooks are bad, just seems like someone’s being lazy. The overcooked snapper was much worse than the artificial tasting oxtail gravy.

Humble place with food to satisfy. Friendly staff.

I rate their Jamaican cuisine a 8/10 but this is extraordinary for a buffet style they serve.

No frills, they put all the talking in the gravy.

Food is decently proportioned however the soup not so much ! Not matter the size all you get is straight water and one or two dumplings. For $2-$4 I could make my own chicken broth and drink it with some dumplings.

This was my first time there and received poor customer service. I greeted the server before she greeted us. The rice was not done very sad that a Jamaican restaurant is unable to prepare rice. I asked for a order of plantains and received 3 dry plantains. The best Jamaican restaurants are on the Westside of town in Rochester ny.

The best Jamaican restaurant in Rochester. We had a variety of dishes, curried chicken, oxtail & curried goat. The food tasted great and freshly cook. I would recommend Nin’s to anyone who want to eat good Jamaican food

Gotta watch out with the little bone splinters throughout your chicken dishes. It tastes good, but they way you cut your meat is dangerous. The potential choking hazard is serious, especially if people bring this food home to their children. Otherwise, the curry chicken is good, so is the jerk chicken.
