Tried Both the Margherita Round Pie & the Upside-down Square Pie.
Overall, Good, but Sauce is a bit too Sweet, needs less Sugar, and be more Meaty (too pureed). Needs that to “Kick This Up to the Next Level”.
Dough/Crust needs a lil more Hydration. Sure, this may be My Preference after 60 Years, and for “Some”, it’s just Fine, I’m sure…and based on the amount of business witnessed, they’re doing just fine with or without Me. Just lending a Good Critique that can help, not hurt. Been to all the Best in NYC and So. FL, over 33 years. Nino’s IS Worth a visit. Great Staff & Service is a Plus here too.

Let me start by saying that this DEFINITELY A TOP 5 pizza place in all of South Florida. If you know what real NY style thin crust pizza is then you are going to agree. From the moment that I walked in the ENTIRE STAFF WAS COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL. This restaurant takes enormous pride in their heritage and history. Speaking with Rob (the owner) – I got great insight into their family and pride of ownership. This is a 3rd generation pizza business that pays very good attention to details. You will see from the pic that I posted, Rob himself is sizing up the dough balls for the pies.

I had told Rob that I do pizza reviews and that didn’t phase him. He was completely confident in his abilities to deliver an incredible finished product. I will start by telling you that the dough is exceptional. Even after it cooled off, it didn’t turn into cardboard – its was soft and moist. Delicious and NOT overly salty. Normally I am dying of thirst after eating 4 slices, but this was not the case. So they have definitely perfected the amount of salt required in dough.

The mozzarella is Grande brand – if you don’t know about this, you need to read up on what some of these other pizza places use (fake cheese subsitutes). When a place uses Grande brand cheese, you know that the owner has some idea of good pizza and this place certainly fit the bill. The Grande cheese melts beautifully. And the proportion of cheese to sauce was simply spot on!!! You should be able see portions of sauce piercing through the cheese which it certainly did.

The sauce was DEFINITELY FRESH and AUTHENTICE…it was super light and not salty. A little more on the sweet side then I prefer, but that doesn’t mean it was bad – its a matter of personal preference. The sauce did not have any huge chunks of tomatoes which I don’t care for.

Bottom line – YOU WILL LOVE THIS PLACE and the service and the personal pride that the staff takes in delivering an incredible pie. It is a top 5 place for NY pizza you won’t be disappointed!!!!

The only comment that I would have in order to further elevate the pizza is to have the mushrooms sliced thinner and more evenly distributed. Minor comment but I do like it better when the mushroom is thinner. And the final comment is that the edge of the pies would be slightly better if they were more air pockets in them – this probably equates to increasing the yeast in the recipe. I will tell you however that there was no “wet dough” throughout the pie which is always a huge plus.

We loved our meals at Nino’s. The restaurant featured attractive decor and was clean and inviting. This was our first visit to this restaurant. We heard about their early bird specials, and the bargain lovers that we are, we wanted to give Nino’s a try. The early bird menu had many good entrees to choose from. Soft drinks are included with the meal, which these days represents a saving of up to $10 per couple, right there. Soup or salad is also included, and the salad was fresh and delicious. I thought the salad was the best part of the meal, which is not a knock against the entree, it is just that the salad was so darn good. We both ordered the lasagna dinner, which was very good. Service was great and our waitress did a good job keeping our drinks filled. Desert was also included with the early bird meal and we chose a cannoli and a slice of peach cake. The cannoli was rather small and just okay. The peach cake was amazing. It was the clear winner. We loved Nino’s and will return soon to try another entree, with salad, and more of their wonderfully tasty peach cake for dessert.

It was 630pm and we got the last table. I love when a place is full. It tells me the place is good! We sat in a booth which is my preference over a table. Immediately we were brought garlic bread w butter . So crispy and warm! My entry came w salad, pasta and chicken. Portions were large! Price were reasonable. Staff was accommodating and attentive.

We had a terrible experience from the minute we walked through the door and we will never return. The hostess was very rude. We arrived at 430pm and there were plenty of open tables. Even though they don’t take reservations were were told the open tables were for “call ahead people”. We were a party of 5 that they put us at a table for 4. Right behind us was 4 people at a table for 6! The table that they said was reversed on the other side of us was a table for 6, that only 4 people sat at, and it was left empty for over an hr. They didn’t come until after 530pm!!! The food was terrible. The salmon my friend sent back she said it was very “fishy”. And 2 of us had the eggplant rolletini. It was very dry, warm and the inside was lumpy not smooth. When the owner came out to speak with us, instead of saying sorry for the many inconveniences he became very defensive of his “call ahead” policy and was not helpful at all and other than changing my friends terrible meal he did nothing. On the way out once again the hostess was very rude to us. The picture is the table behind us that was for 6, and only 4 people were there. And I forgot to mention when the 4 people finally showed up to sit behind us, thr hostess wanted us to move in more. We were like are yiu kidding me we are squished already and you want to accommodate the latecomers and squish us even more! The list goes on…rude, terrible service, the waiter didn’t even smile or tell us his name nothing… NY Pizza in Lake worth is soooo much better..service, food atmosphere everything!!!

Nino’s was kind of a staple for us when visiting my mother-in-law in Florida, but for some reason, we hadn’t been in a while. It was her birthday weekend, and her friends wanted a fun night out, so they picked Nino’s. The décor is all Italy-themed, which is pretty classic. They were nice enough to give us the early dining menu since our reservation was at 5:15. We had about 10 women, and by 5:30, it was getting a bit busy, but they were patient with us — even though I could tell the waiter was a little frustrated at times. The food was okay — I probably should’ve gone with a recommendation. I ordered the chicken parm, but honestly, it was pretty standard, not much flavor.

Great food served nice and hot. Early special was awesome. Kayla, our server was very kind and efficient. She helped with my mother’s walker and made good suggestions about the food choices. Very nice young lady!

This place is delicious! Pizza is so tasty and looks to be homemade dough and sauce. Chicken parm with à la vodka is incredible. Perfect amount of sauce, fresh onions and tomatoes in it, you can taste the cream that it is homemade. The artichoke appetizer is impeccable – super flavorful with the wine sauce and Parmesan top.

I purchase a pickup order this past Tuesday feb 24 ,2026 large pie and an eggplant parm sub. , I went back last night to have dinner with friends meal was fine however they did nothing for my issue on Tuesday been going there for 5 years probably finished going there ( bad way of doing business what’s the big deal to offer me another pie at $19 given them thousands over the years ) the sub was very fair at best ,very dissappointed it was very cheap of them and I have never complained in the past 5 years. I did tell the manager in person 2 days later when I ate there again so it was within 48 hours not a week , he said I should have brought it back but did nothing at that time. It was not realistic to bring it back since we were traveling to someone’s house ,again it was within 2 days not as u stated a week
