Social Profile:

For close to 30 years, Nino’s has been serving the west side of Cleveland in North Ridgeville, Ohio. What originally started in the late 1950s on W. 130th and Bellaire, Uncle Anthony (Nino) and Uncle Tom reintroduced the Calabrian family recipes to a new neighborhood. They captured their mother’s love in the food that’s been passed down through generations; it’s how we ate at home, through good times and bad, holidays, and everything in-between. Come hungry. The portions are huge. Be patient. Our food is homemade. Come and relax and enjoy each others’ company.

Pizza, stuffed gnocchi & housemade meatballs & spaghetti round out the menu at this cozy trattoria.

This was our first time here. the portions are very good and they taste fantastic! I had eggplant Parm which came with 3 huge slices of eggplant and an ample portion of spaghetti. The hubby got the veal parmesan it was a good sized piece of veal and also an ample portion of spaghetti. Also we added a side of their homemade Italian sausage which has a great fennel taste. As full as we were we had to try dessert We got the 3 layer lemon cake and canolii (it comes with 2. I had the 2nd boxed to take home). Also ordered a small pepperoni and bacon pizza to try and take home. Prices are on the higher end but the quality and taste justify the cost. We will be back again!

Nino’s is by far the best Italian Restaurant in the area! Great ambiance, great portions, great flavors, great vibes + great team with a nice family feel… and Sandy (our server) is a sweetheart. I’m a big fan! Bravo!

Wife and I have had a tradition to enjoy our anniversary dinner here for many years. The prices have gone up quite a bit but the food is second to none.

Great local Italian food. Not the first reviewer and won’t be the last, these reviews speak for themselves. Worth the drive for the food. Pricing is very fair, portions are insanely large even for Italian restaurants. Staff is so pleasant and the menu covers any style of Italian food you’d desire. Drink menu is very good, lots of take out orders, restaurant is a little small than it looks so arrive early.

Took my Italian mom there for Dinner, the portions were huge and the food was delicious. We had lemon cake and canoli for dessert (Wow) and to top it off we had the pleasure of meeting the owner and learned all about the history of how it all started, Wonderful place, great food you won’t be disappointed

At the recommendation of many people my husband and I decided to try them to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The food was even better than I could have imagined. I got eggplant parm and the eggplant was so tender, many times when I order it at other places it is rubbery. There was so much food I could only eat half my eggplant and brought the spaghetti home for my daughter to enjoy. We have been told the pizza here is also good so we will be back to try that!

We ate calamari for an appetizer. It was cooked to perfection with a very wonderful dipping sauce. We also had minestrone soup, spaghetti and cavatelli. They were all very good.

Nino’s is a bit surprising to me that they don’t receive more recognition. It can be a bit pricey, but the serving sizes are substantial and we always seem to have good food. For this trip we ordered for pickup for the first time. 25 minutes from order to pickup seemed quick and the service at pickup was fast. Half the restaurant was undergoing renovation so it is a bit cramped and noisy but still worthy of a stop if you are in the area.

We didn’t have reservations and waited 45 minutes for a table. Was worth the wait. Once seated, our server Sandy was good, minor errors, none worth pointing out. No bar, the server made my martini, exactly as I asked for. Call vodka for the martini was not over priced. I had the veal marsala, was much sweeter than I’ve had it in the past, but was good. There were tons of mushrooms to share with my guest. He had a HUGE pasta dish, sorry don’t recall which, was way too big for 1 person. I’ve only been there a couple of times, need to go more often. May want reservations on a Sat. night, or go around 7 when the crowd starts to thin a bit. There is no bar and a limited waiting area, so take that into consideration.
