Came here for a team dinner and it delivered.

Rigatoni Enzo: tender lamb meatball, incredibly flavorful, not dry at all. Rich red sauce w/ perfectly cooked rigatoni. Freshly grated parmesan tying everything together beautifully. Comforting but still refined.

Chicken Parmigiano: classic, well-executed, satisfying. Clean flavors, balanced sauce and cheese. Melted perfectly. Plates wiped clean.

Mussels & Calamari: fresh, well-seasoned, great starters. Bright, savory, nicely prepared.

Portions slightly smaller than expected, but still generous enough and very satisfying.

Valet $5: absolutely worth it.

Ambience: polished and professional, yet intimate enough for a romantic evening. Old-school charm. Classic Italian atmosphere.

Oldest Italian restaurant in Atlanta (57–58 years) – you can feel the legacy.

Looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the menu.

I went to Nino’s the other night for a quiet date night and we have a lovely time. For some reason it had been a long time since my last visit but I found it just as nice as I’ve always remembered it to be. It’s not at all pretentious and is a nice part of my memory of growing up in Atlanta – it’s a good, solid, old-fashioned red-sauce Italian restaurant. It’s not dressy, but it’s still white tablecloth and has some great staff. I had a veal special that I loved and my husband had the gnocchi in bolognese. We had escargots and fried cheese to start and an almond cake to finish – everything was very good. In summary, I was really happy to find this old classic was still a solid choice and I’m looking forward to putting it back in the rotation.

We were the final table to get seated at Nino’s this past week. Came in a little late but we’re looking to celebrate with some friends.

The service was excellent in a way that you kind of forget about sometimes. They weren’t asking us how are meal was every 5 minutes, they knew the menu like they grew up reading it, they were warm and funny. Nino’s is the kind of place you walk into and it feels like everyone there is family and they’ve all been there 15+ years. They were cleaning up as we were leaving and we saw one of the floor staff bring some wine pours back to the kitchen and heard some big laughs — It’s nice to know all the people who work there care for each other.

My group wasn’t drinking this night cause we drove so I won’t speak on the wine.

The food was phenomenal. We started with calamari, fried Motz and a caprese salad. Great, light starters perfectly portioned before the entrees.

Entrees: Capellini Elena, creamy, shrimp done perfectly. Well proportioned. Had everyone trying to get a bite off my plate.

Loved the dining experience, will be back with more friends again soon. I think we spent ~180 for 3 people with 3 apps, 3 entrees, 1 glass of red.

Our first experience at this restaurant was amazing, and I regret not visiting sooner. Our food was so delicious (ALL the food, including drinks, apps, entrees, and dessert). Our servers were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and the host and bartender were very friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, very comfortable. We will definitely go back again, I can’t recommend highly enough!

Okay so… starting off with the atmosphere the outside is small but the inside is beautiful. We sat in the outdoor seating area and the temperature was just right, the table settings were perfect, and the lighting was cozy! Their wine selection is simple but still vast which I appreciate. The pricing is affordable and the service is quick and efficient but not at all personable so don’t expect any banter. The Caesar salads were excellent, the Zuppa pasta was delicious, but the special which was a “rack” of lamb was awful. The sauce the lamb was prepared in had a weird smell and the taste was like bitter wine. And you are receiving nowhere close to a rack it is literally two pieces so don’t expect a rack. I let them know I didn’t care for the dish and I ordered a different plate and I still had to pay for half of the dish that was sent back… working in the restaurant industry I know the level of customer care that should be provided and this place just was not up to par. I would suggest it for dining alone for a quick lunch but not a romantic or family centered evening.

Had the tiramisu, it was delightful. I’m just disappointed at the size of it. Look at it compared to my fork. This cost $11.

Friend and I came here for early dinner and wasn’t all that impressed. Red sauce was lacking a bit in flavor and the food was pretty basic for the prices. Service was friendly and attentive but overall there are much better alternatives for what you pay.

Firstly the restaurant has great ambience with dim lightings, great collection of wines. I had ordered lamb meatball pasta and a salad. Both were authentic, out of which I loved the salad. Overall, I am satisfied with the ambience, but when it comes to food I felt not that great.

Would be happy to hear what you guys felt about this place.
