Got the minestrona soup. That was super good! God an order of the fried ravioli, and the mozzarella wedges! Both were good but we preferred the ravioli. Got a custom mixed drink and that was delicious! Got the stuffed shells, and the creamy ravioli. Omg both were sooooo good! The best Italian we’ve ever had!!!
Wish we lived closer, we’d come back all the time!!
I had a wonderful experience at Nino’s Italian House near the Pontiac area in Michigan. The food was absolutely delicious — authentic Italian flavors, perfectly prepared, and very high quality. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and full of flavor.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. You can really tell they care about both the food and the customer experience.
If you’re looking for great Italian food in the Pontiac area, I highly recommend Nino’s Italian House. We will definitely be coming back.
The rigattoni is particularly good .
I ordered the lemon chicken. It was disgusting to say the least. The chicken had no seasoning, tasted NOTHING like lemon. There were two capers, COLD, CANNED mushrooms on top. There was spaghetti on the dish. No sauce, floating in water! I was so confused.
The server was very nice and professional. If she asked how everything was I would have told her but I think she knew by the looks of my almost full plate.
I’m not sure what’s going on here, but how hard can lemon chicken be? I’ve never had such a disgusting dish in my life! I really wanted to like this place.
Here is our take: Waitress was okay. Maybe she was new, but we had to flag her down every time we needed refills on the water or more wine.
The food was actually pretty good. I actually liked the red sauce a lot, which, being Italian and a home chef myself, was certainly a surprise.
The atmosphere was very warm and inviting and we ended up staying so long chatting, we ordered dessert. It too was okay. The brownie and ice cream was good, but I would have rather had hot fudge and not chocolate sauce, but it wasn’t bad.
All in all, it was just middle of the road. Not 5-star fabulous, but certainly not 1-star horrible.
