This place is what you’d call a hole in the wall, but they serve some really good food. Everything that I’ve eaten, so far, reminds me of my country – Puerto Rico. So if you’re looking for a small piece of home, this is the place for you. Try fried plantains with fried pork pieces – it’s just too good!!! Dessert? Many traditional flavorful foods with generous meal portions and great prices. Cold case has an array of beverage choices. Restaurant is always clean and staff is efficient. Entrance is handicap accessible and there is metered street parking.

I first tried this restaurant when I bought fritura for a family gathering, and everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor! I decided to give them a second try with their Yaroa (papa and plátano maduro), and they did not disappoint—both were incredibly tasty. The Dominican food here is truly authentic, and I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious, flavorful dishes. This is definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to. Delicious Dominican food, the juices are freshly made. The chicharrón is the best I tasted so I recommend that. If you ask for anything specific that’s not already on display to be made they’ll be more than happy to make it! The restaurant is always very clean and the owners are extremely nice! 5 stars!!!
