Excellent sushi. Some of the best we have found around the Des Moines metro. Service was great as well, and they do have cocktails/bar. The sushi platter/boats are a great way to try an assortment, particularly if you are willing to share, and they have some unique offerings as well like sea urchin. We both really enjoyed our meal! Pictured here are the shrimp and pork ramen bowls. If you order a ramen bowl you first pick your base and then pick a meat. I had the shrimp, but just the veggie would have been plenty of food. Several options on the menu indicated that you could ask for a vegetarian option.

My wife and I checked out Ninja their opening week. Was a great experience. Including some pictures from our dinner. The staff were all welcoming, neat decor, and drinks/food were excellent. The edamame was my favorite part of the meal. Excellent. It is great to have another top notch sushi restaurant here in Waukee. Will be going back soon!

We thought this place was very mediocre. The roll I got was pretty bleh, udon noodles were average, combo fried rice didn’t taste like much, and the chicken teriyaki was ok. The blue fin tuna belly was super tender and delicious, but expensive. I love eel nigiri and this just wasn’t great.
