This place used to be good. That’s the most disappointing part.
What was once a respectable sushi spot has turned into a cheap, careless operation with zero pride. From the moment I walked in, the experience went downhill fast. I stood at the counter for 20 minutes while the woman at the window stayed on the phone. No acknowledgment. No “one moment.” Nothing. That alone tells you everything about how customers are valued here now.
It gets worse.
One of the employees openly complained about management and told me not to tip on the credit card because the boss keeps the tips. Think about how bad things have to be for workers to warn customers like that. You could feel the resentment in the room — employees who clearly hate their boss and no longer care about the business.
The restaurant was cold, literally — the heat wasn’t even on. Morale was frozen along with it.
And here’s something people don’t like to hear, but it matters: the guy working there had a car outside that looked completely neglected. If someone takes that little care of their own space, it makes you wonder — what does the kitchen look like? Clean restaurants don’t feel like this.
This place didn’t just slip — it declined. Hard.
Bad service. Bad energy. No pride. No accountability.
There was a time when people wanted to come here. That time is over. I gave it another chance and regret it. I’m done.
You don’t lose customers because of one mistake — you lose them because you stop caring. And that’s exactly what happened here.
I will echo the sentiments of another reviewer just 1 month ago… The chicken that you use in the General Tso’s chicken as well as the chicken and broccoli dish was inedible.
It is dry and after chewing it for about a minute you realize that you need to spit it out.
When you do, you’ll see nothing but fibrous shreds of dried out chicken.
The last time a customer mentioned this, your reply was that you would address this with the kitchen staff.
You always seem request that a negative reviewer call you so that you can better discuss this. There is nothing for you to call me about… just purchase and feed people better quality chicken. There is no way you don’t realize what’s happening. The more that you ignore this – the more of these kind of reviews you’re going to get before you eventually close down and say “what happened?”
I’m giving you the information you need to make the corrections that you need to undertake. … YOUR CHICKEN IS AWFUL – BUY BETTER GRADES OF CHICKEN!
Enough said.
This restaurant really went down hill over the last years. Been coming here and ordering take out for a while. Was giving this place another chance but all in vain.
Poor customer service food quality is not the best lately. Definitely not the spot for sushi or rolls anymore. Any take out of rolls comes with a pound of rice and thin slice of fish etc.
Disappointing in many ways.
Would not recommend
Food:
Pennsylvania roll- 8/10 (the cream cheese threw it off for me)
Broccoli- 10/10 cooked very well.
Beef fried rice – 9/10 it tasted a little sweet for me.
The server Jay was helpful when we asked to switch seats. Quiet spot for a weekend date night.
