Loads of choices ranging from sushi, bentos, donburis, and noodles to satisfy any Japanese food craving while on a time crunch. It was relatively slow when we walked in, around 5 in the evening on a Friday, and the food came out really fast. Prices were decent as well.
The dynamite chicken donburi bowl was definitely the best thing we ordered. The chicken well seasoned and delicious with a tasty spicy mayo accompanying it on a well portioned bow of rice.
The poke bowl was lacking a little, as it missed a lot of other ingredients such as ogo and even sesame seeds, that make authentic Hawaiian poke, but it was still good quality tuna and had a bit of spice to it.
The spam sushi was good, as my son devoured it and the sushi rice used was made well with a tasty consistency.
The cashier at the counter was polite and didn’t forget to ask us about utensils and if we required wasabi or ginger for our order as well. Want to try other options next time!

Tiger king had the most tiniest tuna ! Very hit and miss on this location, sometimes they give a fair amount and sometimes not 🙁

Fantastic hole in the wall sushi place. We tried the sushi rolls, gyazo, and miso; everything was ono. Staff was very friendly, food came very quickly, and place is clean. Definitely reasonable prices.
Weren’t many midday customers, but i think it’s cause Waipio gentry is just a low traffic area. They really deserve more, will be coming back. Cheehoo

Stopped by for lunch with my husband this afternoon. The cashier was very pleasant and friendly. I ordered a vegetable tempura maki and my husband ordered the Superman. The wait for the food was not long at all and tasted great! Highly recommend this Ninja Sushi if you’re in the area.

Delicious! Try the bread pudding. Note this is a take out place only. You basically just order from a window, no seating. Very friendly staff and excellent sushi.

Fairly expensive for counter serve sushi, and the quality doesn’t really back it up either. If you’re going to pay these prices you might as well go to a nicer sushi restaurant. Employees be we’re a little awkward as usual, for some reason the girls that work behind the counter at ninja sushi never have very great people skills. No enthusiasm at all. If I’m paying this price for simple nigiri they could atleast smile.

Walking in I automatically felt welcome (I’m an afro-latinx from the mainland). I got the salmon special and an additional salmon nigiri order. And the lovely lady at the register suggested I get garlic mayo on my salmon. So I got it on my smaller order. The woman at the front was so reassuring that I could take my time and gave an upbeat positive vibe the whole time. Lots of ‘Aloha’ spirit. And when I tell you it was so satisfying! All of it was so good and the garlic mayo was a delicious addition. The service and the sushi was excellent and well packaged. I will be back again soon:)
