Tried takeout from here for the first time, customer service was amazing. They had forgotten to give me a dipping sauce and even called me to let me know and asked if I was close enough to turn around! Most places wouldn’t even care or notice this.

As for the ramen, I got the spicy miso. the meat and overall portion size was great but it wasn’t very spicy, the broth was super flavorful though.

Everything my husband and I ordered was absolutely incredible. Their Chashu is very tender and their eggs have a great flavor. The spicy chicken don bowl was also wonderful. Their chicken was juicy and had a great spice complexity. The decor and furniture are a bit outdated and damaged in some places but the food quality towers over the atmosphere. I will absolutely be returning and highly recommend visiting here.

New comment (8/19/2025): since visiting past new ownership I have given this place 4 different tries, but unfortunately the broth is just not the same anymore. Unsure if the cooking of noodles has differed, or if they are a different type entirely. At first everything was too salty, but since my last 3 visits my ramen broth has been seriously lacking. The sukiyaki beef has gone from light and tender to bunched and chewy. The gyoza, as of today, was so overcooked and more fried all over than a proper crispy bottom. The salad the last two visits came without dressing and the bento without sauce. Music and K-pop is not played while dining, and the restaurant has lost its air. The new staff are attentive, and that is a plus, but I’m afraid this was our last visit for ramen. Unfortunate downgrade for sure. 🙁

Original comment: Great meal! We love that it offers both Ramen and Bento. The older woman who runs the store is very passionate and a pleasure to visit with! I personally order the Sukiyaki ramen every time. The price is just right for the portions and we usually can bring some home after filling up! We were also given a stamp card that allows us to earn free ramen. Authentic and welcoming, we have been back many times and will continue to visit.

Small but enjoyable restaurant hidden in a small shopping center on Cornell. Ramen was very good and portions are great. My only complaint is that it was incredibly silent while we ate on Sunday evening. The only sounds were beeping from the kitchen. Some soft background music would have been nice. It costs around $20 per person, depending on your order.

This place is criminally under rated. Deluxe bowl has a generous amount of noodles, amazing broth with deep flavor, perfectly cooked jammy yolks on the egg. Always great ramen.

I have been coming to this place for several years now, it used to be really good for Karaage Don, but now the chicken comes burnt and with barely any spicy sauce on it. They also WAY overcharge for more meat in the ramen, $8 for an extra piece of meat is absurd when that’s half the price of the ramen bowl. I tried their tonkatsu ramen and it doesn’t taste like it did years ago, the new management is not keeping this place up well like the previous ones did, I would not reccommend it.

I went to Ninja Ramen with my boyfriend and it is such a lovely place to eat at!!! I loved the food and everything about the place it was nice and cozy inside. I highly reccomend trying it out. 5 stars for everything food, service, and atmosphere. There was pretty high beat anime music and other bands playing on a tv and the food is divine and melts in your mouth kind of good. I want to go here so much more. Also their boba tea is so good!

Ninja Ramen isn’t typically my favorite place to get Japanese noodles, but they’re quick, efficient, and adequate enough. Good place to meet with a friend. I find that the broth is a bit tasteless compared to other restaurants, but the ramen is pretty filling and they have a decent selection. The appetizers are better than the entrees in my opinion. The restaurant itself is small and nothing special, sometimes it feels a bit dead and quiet when the people don’t turn the music on. Sometimes it’s a bit crowded. Service can be rather slow, even when it’s not that busy, but the employees are pretty nice regardless.

First time here, just mine and one other table of people. Was given menus, but then the server waited 10 minutes to take our order…said he forgot about us. No worries, honest mistake.

Ordered sausage (nothing special, but juicy), gyoza (great flavor, just wish they were slightly larger), Takoyaki (ok flavor, but mushy batter inside and only one small piece of ), potato croquettes (perfect crunchy pillows of potato, great flavor, sauce very intense), chicken karaage (crunchy, greasy, spicy, flavorful…this would make an AWESOME base for a sando with a little rice vinegar tamari sesame oil marinated red cabbage on top), Ninja Deluxe Ramen (good flavor, but overly salty…dominated every bite), and TanTan Ramen (excellent flavors, spot on with this one).

All in all, some home runs and some misses…will definitely be back again though.

My husband, and myself wanted to try this place out. When we entered we were greeted with lots of positive energy, and smiles from the staff as we sat at our counter table. We found the staff are polite, and very helpfull. We give the customer service a 10 out of 10. The food we also give a 10 out of 10. It is the best we had in quit some time, and we recommend the Karaage Don (chicken and rice meal) and Japanese Curry Rice. We loved every bite, and definitely worth the price, which is very affordable. If you are looking for a new place to try, this is definitely the place to go!! You will not regret coming here.
