The bread was very fresh, but the chicken shawarma lacked flavor and was over powered by the amount of onions and lettuce packed. Additionally the shawarma was room temperature which kind of threw me off. I’m sure if you add a bit of salt and less fresh lettuce and onions it would’ve lived up to my standards.

Please be aware of this place is only takeout. If you’re getting something off the grill strongly recommend ordering before you get there cause it takes a while to prepare excellent bread, unique and very flavorful falafel and we really enjoyed the pickled vegetables the tabouli was OK.

It was my first time getting there and I was super hungry. I had the best falafel sandwich in the west end. Clean place, fresh food, yummy falafel. Super friendly staff. I wish i had a pic, i ate that sandwich in the car!! It was super delicious. Highly recommended

Absolutely amazing shawarma! The beef and lamb were so flavorful and tender — just like the ones back home. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and I loved the small Pepsi bottle from the Middle East — such a perfect nostalgic touch. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I stopped by Nineveh Bakery around 2:00 PM, but unfortunately they didn’t have kebab available at that time, which was disappointing since it’s one of the main items I was hoping for.
Also, there is no seating—it appears to be take-out only, and that really should be mentioned clearly in the listing so customers know what to expect before coming.
The place may be good for grab-and-go, but better communication about menu availability and dining options would improve the experience.

The welcoming hospitality was great. It is such a wonderful first time experience. We got Lamb Tikka with rice and tabbouleh/ Lamb beef shwarma with hummus and rice. Accompanied with garlic and hot sauces. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our order took about 15 minutes, worth the wait! I’m excited to go back for the falafel sandwich. The deserts were tasty and not too sweet.

Freshly made classic middle eastern dishes that are simply put …excellent. The freshly made Iraqi bread is exceptional. When you’re not sure where to go or what to try, visit Nineveh, it’s all good.

One of the best Falafel Restaurants in Richmond. The food is great and the prices are fair.
Don’t miss out on a delicious meal that is worth every penny. I will be back for sure

Did a take out order of the hummus. The guy who took my order spoke english. The guy who made my order did not speak english and could not understand me, when I was trying to speak with him. The hummus was bland, no flavor, and somehow gritty, like grits that did not get blended. Very weird texture and taste. I did not continue to eat the hummus. I do not like to toss things away but I can not force myself to eat something that I do not like.
