Reviews
Right behind the restaurant there is a parking garage, very convenient when you are in downtown.
This review is going to be bitter-sweet, because I got horrible service at the bar but excellent service at the restaurant.
The bar tender that helped us was very anal about certain things, never smiled and did not know how to speak to customers.
But at the restaurant, the girls were amazing, they really make this place better.
They are a little strict about the happy hour menu and where you can be seated. So if you are ordering from the Happy Hour Menu you cannot sit at the restaurant, you must to sit at the bar or by the sushi chef. Little weird rule.
The food is outstanding and the cocktail excellently crafted.
Perfect for a date, business dinner or a girl night out.
We arrived a little early for our 5:15 PM reservation (booked through OpenTable) and were promptly seated. Our server, Jaybie R., delivered exceptional service with spot-on menu recommendations. We never felt rushed and were able to truly savor each course: crispy tuna bites, citrus hiramasa, Brussels sprouts, Hyaku gyoza, shumai dumplings, chasu skewer, lemon kani roll, and for dessert, the harumaki cheesecake. Every dish was fresh, creative, and beautifully balanced in flavor. (Apologies for no photos—I was too busy enjoying the experience to remember!)
Parking was easy in the Jefferson Bank building garage, and the restaurant validates. Valet is also available. Signage from the garage to the entrance is somewhat limited, but a helpful security guard pointed us in the right direction. It was a bit chilly inside for my comfort, so I’ll bring a light sweater next time.
An all-around wonderful dining experience—highly recommend for a special night out.
What really stood out was the attention to detail in everything—the handcrafted sauces, the balance of flavors, and the creative plating. Each dish felt thoughtful and elevated, while still being approachable and absolutely delicious. The green tea dessert at the end was the perfect finish—light, creamy, and unique.
The space itself is modern and elegant, with a clean design and a bar that makes you want to sit and linger. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the staff really knew the menu inside and out, helping guide us through the meal.
Nineteen Hyaku is hands down a must-visit. Whether for sushi, wagyu, gyoza, fried rice, or any of their other crafted plates, this is a restaurant that deserves all the recognition. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish.
Totally recommend it for a special date night or when you want to treat yourself to an amazing dinner!
I definitely recommend dining here. The experience is top notch and unforgettable. A+
