I always say if you have to drench your meat on BBQ sauce, then it ain’t good BBQ. This place is NO different. In my mind, great BBQ doesn’t need to hide behind sauce. The meat is the star, right? So let it shine!
I awarded 3 stars because the meat was tender and cooked very nicely and the sides were tasty.
I shall return for the mac & cornbread. And I kinda wanna try the tips, without the sauce of course. ♀️

It was ok, this is smoked ribs. I like ribs off the pit. It came with a taste (small) Coleslaw. I had greens (good) small tip (ok). They don’t ask what type of sauce so they mix it hot and mild, sauce to sweet. Not a friendly atmosphere , older man taking orders was arrogant and unfriendly. I will not return not my type of BBQ.

Lunch was on me today so I quickly ran to 911 BBQ and the overall consensus is that the food was AMAZING!!! The meats were more than flavorful & tender (fall off the bone), the brisket was so evenly cooked & superbly seasoned, their bbq sauce is one of the best tasting in Chicago hands down. The portions were plentiful & will last for another meal, mac n cheese was “mac & cheesin” (somebody’s grandma w big arms made that mac n cheese lol).

* Ribs(1/2 slab) + Chicken combo
*Links + Tips combo
*Chopped Brisket Sandwich
*Rib tips
*Sides: Mac n Cheese, Greens, Sweet potatoes, baked beans, cornbread
*Peach Cobbler
The people here are very nice and personable each time I’ve visited also. I 100% recommend this place and I 100% will be going back (as I have been since my arrival in Chicago a few months ago).

It was my first time visiting and I thought it was really good. I’ve traveled and ate at a lot of places and I could honestly say that this was some good barbecue. The greens and sweet potatoes were good as well. The portion sizes are a little small, however, it’s probably what I needed. Overall, it’s a great place if your looking for barbecue.

My food was delivered hot, It tasted great. I ordered a few different items but everything was good. The chicken was tender and juicy, the slab was melting off the bone. The pulled pork was flavorful and the brisket was good. All of the sides were great but the candied yams were more on the sweet side for me. But overall great experience. Customer service was cordial and very respectful.

I love the sweet potatoes here.
This is a BBQ place but the sides are phenomenally delicious. The spaghetti is offered on Wednesday and Saturday it is in a league of its own, meaty and succulent. I go often. They cater also. After eating here you’ll want to call 911 to report how good it is
