Nine & Night has outstanding Thai food! I will definitely be eating more of their dishes again. I was so excited to see Chang, one of the only beers made in Thailand, on their menu. I enjoyed the food and the Thai beer. I came here for dinner with 2 other people. Our server was very friendly and all of our orders were made correctly. I suspect they were understaffed, as it took around 30 minutes for us to even have water on the table. One soup came with the meal, and one actually came after the meal arrived. It was so cold in the restaurant, that I ate with my puffy winter jacket on. One of the things I love the most about Thai restaurants is the unique decor and cozy vibe. I would love to see more decorations on the walls of this place. I noticed a lot of customers or food delivery ppl picking up take out orders. Next time I patronize, I think I will do take out. Overall, it was a positive experience. The food was excellent, and our orders were 100% correct.

I dont even know where to start…Once I took one bite of this curry tonight, I forgot all about hpw frigid it is up in Buffalo today. It warmed my whole soul. I actually went there for the first time yesterday lol. Dont judge me. I cook. It was just that good. Yesterday, I had the Beef Pad Ka Pow, and chicken satay, which was great. After tasting my friends beef green curry, I knew I wanted curry after today, even with having all my left overs. My order today was the green curry with salmon. The piece of salmon was massive and perfectly seared I could tell my the peanuts, and the color, they actually gave me the panang curry, and I couldnt have been happier. Added another great texture and flavor. Great staff, amazing, fresh food. Love. Flavor pops. Will return over and over and reccomend anyone. Ive tasted so much food all around and Im telling you, one of best meals Ive ever even. Appreciate all that you guys do. 10 stars.

We were told this was some of the best Thai in Buffalo and it lived up to the hype! We tried the coconut shrimp, fried dumplings, fresh spring rolls and crab rangoon for appetizers, they were all delicious! Then for the main course, we haf the vermicelli soup with squid and shrimp, they were the most tender and tasty shrimp I have had, the ma ma noodke soup was also great. We had a large group and everyone went home very happy with their meals, highly recommended, make sure to ask for the hot oil and dried thai chillis, add a little of these to your soup or meal for that perfect kick of spice.
Prices were reasonable, enjoyed the location and atmosphere, the service was very good.

I LOVE this place. The owner and his wife are SO AMAZING. My GO TO dish is Pad Ka Pow, Ive been eating it for yearrssss. I get mine extra spicy and really the beef, chicken and shrimp are all good. Ive been rocking with them since Grant St days and now that its in an even bigger space on Amherst St. they have even more to offer. This place is truly a gem and Im actually really excited to order soon.

I have been there several times.
If you’re looking for truly authentic Thai food in the U.S., this place is a gem. The flavors are bold, balanced, and just like what you’d find in Thailand—spicy, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. You can tell the dishes are made with care and tradition.
The owners are incredibly kind and patient. They take time to explain the menu and are happy to adjust spice levels or offer recommendations. Their warmth really adds to the experience.
The atmosphere is peaceful and beautifully decorated, with a clean, spacious layout and a view that makes dining here even more enjoyable. Whether you’re coming for a casual lunch or a relaxing dinner, it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy exceptional Thai cuisine.

I recently dined at Nine & Night Thai Cuisine in Buffalo and had a very positive experience, so here’s my detailed review:
⸻
What we ordered & enjoyed
• We had the Panang curry and also a large serving of fried rice. The curry was rich, well-seasoned and came with a nice vegetable base (we noticed a good amount of broccoli and other veggies, which was great since we favour vegetarian-friendly meals).
• The fried rice likewise was good quality, flavorful, and nicely balanced.
• We also enjoyed a taro smoothie—cool, refreshing, well-prepared and a great accompaniment to the meal.
• As vegetarians, the fact that the kitchen included more vegetables and made a point of accommodating was a plus.
⸻
Ambience & service
• The ambience was relaxed and pleasant: a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal.
• Service was neat and efficient. I particularly noticed that even though it seemed quite limited staff on-floor (we counted only one young woman managing the dining room and taking care of orders), she handled things very well—friendly, attentive, and kept things moving.
• One small note: with only one person handling most of the front-of-house duties, wait times might increase during very busy periods—but on our visit things were smooth.
⸻
Stand-out positives
• Quality of food: The flavours were clean, fresh, and well-executed. The vegetable content was generous (important to us) and the dishes had a good sense of authenticity.
• Vegetarian-friendly options and flexibility: They clearly did not skimp on veggies, which is a major plus.
• Drink + dessert pairing: The taro smoothie was a nice treat; good to have a well-done non-alcoholic option.
• Service & hospitality: While staff was minimal, the service was nevertheless professional and courteous, which enhances the whole experience.
⸻
Areas for minor improvement
• As noted, the staffing seemed minimal; at peak times this could impact speed of service or table attention.
• If you prefer more elaborate service (multiple servers, frequent check-ins, table-side attention), this may not be quite a luxury-style restaurant—more of a quality casual spot.
• While vegetables were ample, if you’re extremely strict vegetarian or vegan you may want to check every dish for discreet ingredients (Thai kitchens often use fish sauce, etc) to be completely safe.

Summary & recommendation
Overall, we’d rate our experience at Nine & Night Thai Cuisine as very good. For anyone looking for quality Thai food in Buffalo, especially vegetarians or those who appreciate generous vegetable content and good service in a calm environment, this place is a strong option. I’d give it around 4.5 out of 5 stars in our personal scale.
If I were to sum it up in a short line: “Delicious Thai cuisine, generous veggies, refreshing drinks and friendly service – a very dependable choice for a relaxed and flavourful meal.”

One of the best places for Burmese & Thai food! As a muslim i do stick with just veggie items, so i personally have not tried the meat options but my friends always talk about how good it is. I usually always get a salad dish and it never disappoints! You never have to wait a long time either and the food always comes out looking beautiful! Definitely try out their papaya salad and Thai tea!!

To start off I should say I am from the Pacific Northwest where you can get truly authentic Thai food. This place is probably the best Thai food I have found in Buffalo. Tom ka is watery and could definitely use more coconut. But honestly, most places in Buffalo serve it as a white soup and this one is orange so we’re on the right track. The green curry is also missing something but is not bad. This is my first time trying a papaya salad so I don’t have much background but it was very nice and light. The best thing I got by far is the pad see ew. Would highly recommend. The mango sticky rice is sweet but not overly sweet. Would also get again.

The food was amazing and fresh. My noodle soup was delicious. Parking wasn’t a hassle for me, but it could be during peak hours. The food took a little while to come out due to them being short-staffed. The atmosphere was great. I believe they just moved here, and with time, they will likely renovate.
